Caturday - Cat Sitting Duties and a Saved Mouse

I'm cat sitting again for three of my friend's cats. One has just bought a mouse into the garden and dropped it on the path. I wasn't sure it was still alive or not. I managed to get two of the cats into the house and started a rescue mission.

I covered the mouse with a laundry basket so the third cat couldn’t get to it. I wanted to give the mouse time to recover, but it turns out it was playing dead all along! It started to run around so I let it go. I can't cope with any deaths on my watch!

All the three cats are in for the night now, so the mouse needs to get as far away as possible!
