Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. I am pleased to show you how to make a feeder for chicks using recyclable materials. I hope you like it and that it gives you ideas for your own poultry projects at home.

Materials

• 4 plastic containers (I used bleach bottles)
• Scissors
• Nails
• Hammer
• Board
• Staples

Step by Step

For this dining room model, I cut off the top of the bottle with scissors and then opened the middle of the container without cutting off the bottom.

For the second design, we must make holes in the bottom of the container, leaving a height of 6 cm so that the food can rest.

This is how the containers should look!

I made four containers to use as feeders and waterers for the chicks. Now we need to attach them to the wood. I used nails and a hammer to attach them to the piece of wood, leaving a space between each one so I could hammer them in.

Then, at the top, we must attach the staples from end to end so that we can use them to hang our waterers.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Tengo el agrado de poder mostrarles la elaboración de un comedero para los pollitos utilizando material reciclable. Espero que les guste y que ademas puedan tener ideas para hacerlas en sus proyectos de avicultura en la casa.

Materiales

• 4 Enaveses de plasticos ( Yo utilicé botellas de cloro)
• Tijera
• Clavos
• Martillo
• Tabla
• Grampa

Paso a Paso

Para este modelo uno de comedor, recorté con la tijera el pico de la botella y luego debemos abrir la parte del medio del envase sin recortar la parte baja de este.

Para el segundo diseño debemos hacer orificios en la zona baja del recipiente pero dejando una altura de 6cm para que logre reposar el alimento.

De esta manera deben quedar los recipientes!

De esta manera hice 4 recipientes para hacer el comedero y bebedero de los pollitos. Ahora nos queda fijar estos a la madera, para eso me apoyé de clavos y un martillo y pude fijarlos a la pieza de madera, dejando un espacio entre cada uno de estos para poder martillar.

Luego en la parte superior debemos fijar las grampas de extremo a extremo para poder usar estas y tener acceso a guindar nuestros bebederos.
