[ESP-ENG] MI EXPERIENCIA CON HIVE

Greetings everyone, a few hours ago I found a notification in my Hive profile where I had been mentioned by @franchalad for a contest by @ambarvegas in the Loving HIVE ❤ where we have to talk about our experience within Hive, either as content creators or as players of some application like Splinterlands, those who wish to participate can do so and review the contest rules through this link. Without further ado, let's get started.

Hive is an open source blockchain that serves primarily as a social network, where users with programming skills can create their own applications called "Dapps", where they can develop games, social networks, websites and much more. The most used dapps are "Peakd" and "Hive.blog", which serve as social networks where users upload original and quality content on any topic, there are also other applications such as "Ecency" and "Dapplr", which serve the same function. There are also other networks to upload content in video format like Youtube like "3speak" and "Dtube", or games with real money like "Splinterlands" or "Dcity".

Well, I come from another blockchain called Steem which is basically similar to Hive but with some very noticeable differences. I met Hive after the fork (when Hive and Steem split becoming two completely different blockchains), I was still posting on Steem, but after seeing the terrible things that happened, I decided to switch to Hive as most of the people I had made some connection with were here and also Steem had become unprofitable in the long run because it had become an even more centralized network and that fact meant that your money could vanish at any time.

When I joined Hive, I thought that my content would not be as well valued as in Steem, you know, when you've been in a social network for a long time and you have forged a certain reputation, entering another makes you feel a little insecure, a lot of nonsense stirs in your head and you think you will not be successful. But after seeing the strength of this new Hiver community, all the exceptional content that was well rated and the enthusiasm that every day users put into creating quality posts, it was overwhelming, and it didn't take me long to join that embracing dance of rating.

My experience with Hive so far has been fortuitous, in the economic field it has helped me a lot, because I have been able to solve many things in my house like food that, if you live in Venezuela, you will know that it is a matter of survival to adapt to each new price that appears when we go to the market. In the mental realm, I feel more valued, because Hive has made me feel that my talent is worth a lot and that my content is exceptional when I receive a vote from a whale or someone's praise. On the social side, and I think this is the best one, I have felt satisfied because the Hive community is so warm and friendly that I wouldn't trade it for anything. Everyone comes together to help each other and if you are new to finding your horizon, here your doubts will be completely dispelled.
