¡Hola Hive! No saben la emoción con la que les cuento esto, apenas entré, vi la iniciativa Gracias a Hive pude... de callmeenjoy y definitivamente no hay mejor momento para participar que ahora, porque ¡Hay internet en casa!

PARA PONERLOS EN CONTEXTO...
Para mi siempre ha sido un problema el mantenerme en contacto, porque el internet es malo en la residencia o porque en casa, que es donde he estado desde hace un mes, no hay internet ilimitado, y el limitado es de un pendrive con chip de teléono que levanta 400 megas apenas; así que para poder publicar mis recetas, que es en lo que me he centrado últimamente, tenía que sacar todas las fotos y videos en casa e ir a batallar en la residencia para poderlos subir y dejar programados, por eso mi interacción ha sido muy baja.
Por otro lado, en casa no ha habido nunca otro servicio además de la electricidad, aquí en mi lugar olvidado por el mundo no hay gas directo, agua corriente, alcantarillado ni mucho menos teléfono o internet, hasta ahora, ni siquiera satelital, porque mi casa queda en medio de dos montañas y se bloquean la mayoria de señales.
Un solo servicio de internet es capaz de llegar a mi casa, se llama Boom Solutions, tienen una antena muy cerca pero, irónicamente, no podemos conectarnos a esa porque el cerro la bloquea. Un técnico amigo de la familia vino y vimos que hay una antena a unos 6Km con la que había línea de visión, apenas, pero si él no hubiese venido, la agencia no lo habría considerado, por la distancia y por las obstrucciones. El truco estuvo en la altura, le dijo a mi padre que solo un mástil alto y seguro podría permitirnos instalar y mi padre sí que se lo tomó en serio, podrías subir a ese mástil y bailar arriba sin que se mueva, y solo por eso, la conexión pudo validarse.

El costo de la instalación y la mensualidad es alto, de hecho esa compañía se fundó hace casi dos años apenas, y yo fui a la sede apenas abrió, solo para preguntar, no sabía si llegaría hasta mi casa, pero al decirme los precios, la verdad ni siquiera lo consideré, 200$ de instalación y las mensualidades desde 40$ (nota: soy de Venezuela y el salario mínimo es equivalente 3$, por referencia. Yo ganaba 45$ entonces y aún me quedaba muy lejos)
En estos momentos he estado tratando de mantenerme publicando de manera constante, con ello he podido reunir para tener en la mano los últimos pagos de la residecia, los materiales para las recetas, garantizar que puedo pagar la mensualidad del primer mes del internet, todo eso gracias a HIVE.
Sin embargo, mi solo estuerzo en HIVE, en mi propio blog, no era suficiente para cubrir la instalación, no para ayer 24 como se realizó, habría tenido que esperar meses para alcanzar la meta mientras el dinero se me iba en pagar la residencia y seguía incomunicada. Aquí es donde entra la amistad. Apenas le comenté de la necesidad que tenía y lo que me faltaba para lograrlo, @irenenavarroart me tendió la mano, ni siquiera se lo pensó mucho, su ayuda me acercó mucho más a la meta, ya me quedaba faltando por cubrir menos de la mitad de la instalación, entonces le pedí a @pashinni que me prestara el resto y me mandó un sticker de un gato dramático jajaja y luego me preguntó que cuanto jajaja. Sin ellas dos no habría podido contratar el servico.
Y viéndolo bien, también gracias a HIVE, ambas ayudas fueron en HBD, @irenenavarroart tiene un blog bastante sólido y hermoso, sus condiciones tampoco son fáciles y admiro cómo mantiene la disciplina para publicar tanto contenido interesante y valioso prácticamente a diario. @pashinni tiene un blog más pequeño, me encanta porque está lleno de su arte y sus gatas Whisky y Buffy (a la que conozco virtualmente desde que llegó a su casa hace 5 años jaja) en fin, el caso es que ella siempre me ha dicho que le diga si necesito algo, pero yo me rehúso a pedir ayuda económica para resolver cosas cotidianas o gastos que no van a generar ingresos, siempre busco resolverlo, sin embargo esto era algo mayor y para poder ser más productiva... e igual no creo que me hubiera atrevido a pedirle nada en moneda fiat 😅 , asique ¡Gracias a HIVE!
LA INSTALACIÓN...
Otra persona sin la que esto no hubiera sido posible es mi papá. Mi papá tiene un carácter fuerte y en opiniones y actitudes ocurre que nos parecemos y a la vez chocamos mucho, pero si algo sobresale de su carácter, es que no le gusta hacer las cosas a medias ni que un trabajo que el haga quede mal hecho, así que cuando el técnico dijo que había una posibilidad, pero que requería que nosotros mismos hiciéramos la instalación del mástil porque el que ellos instalan llega a un máximo de 3 metros y eso no era suficiente, se puso manos a la obra. Esa misma noche revisó lo que teníamos, vio que faltaba un tubo y fue a buscarlo, al día siguiente a las 7am ya estaba subiendo todo al techo.
Soldó muy bien las partes, se aseguró de que sobre y no que falte, yo hice algo :D sostuve el tubo un minuto para que lo soldara a la casa jaja, la mayoría del tiempo estuve al rededor tomando fotos, pasándole cosas y sosteniendo cuando era necesario, no me puse suéter ni gorra y agarré una insolación, en fin, cosas que pasan. Como si que el tubo rascara el cielo no fuera suficiente, le instaló 3 vientos con guayas de 2cm de diámetro, literalmente le caí a patadas al tubo y apenas si vibra un poco, pero no se mueve nada. Cuando le mandamos la foto al técnico de la instalación se sorprendió mucho.
Eso fue el lunes, ayer vino el técnico y subió todos sus equipos y sorpresa, a la altura que él había previsto, no llegaba la señal, tuvo que subir hasta el "extra" que mi papá colocó, creo que es la instalación de mayor alcance que han realizado, las antenas siempre las buscan cerca, la nuestra apunta a otro pueblo. En eso también agradezco a nuestro amigo que vino en su tiempo libre para ver con sus ojos y no metió la dirección en una pc y dijo "Lo siento, no llegamos" como todas las otras agencias con las que hablé.
¿QUÉ SIGNIFICA TENER INTERNET EN CASA?...
Significa un gran avance y mayor accesibilidad para la familia en general:
Mi padre es un técnico, sin título profesional pero el repara todo lo que pueda ser reparado, sin embargo hay cosas que escapan de lo empírico y necesita investigar, por eso estaban fuera de su alcance o tenía que ir a otras casa a buscar videos y preguntar, cosa que no le gusta, estar metido en casas ajenas, o decirme a mí lo que quiere ver para yo buscarlo en la residencia y tenía que esperar a que yo lo trajera en un pendrive para poder verlo.
Mi mamá adora leer, ver videos de recetas, cosas que igual no estaban en sus manos cuando quisiera, y no tiene concto con muchas amistades por no tener acceso a las redes sociales, ahora puede hacer lo que quiera con el internet sin preocuparse por que se gasten los datos (además los videos nunc cargaban porque el internet limitado era de 400 megas)
Mi hermana @jes.seth ahora puede acceder a cursos en línea y tutoriales para mejorar sus trabajos de ilustracion, además de llevar su propia cuenta de Hive y sus redes sin depender de que yo venga, me lleve lo que escribe, y lo suba desde la residencia.
Para mi es poder darles a ellos todas esas posibilidades, poder estar cómoda en casa y hacer el trabajo completo, desde crear el contenido para mi blog, aprender todo lo que quiero aprender, poder interactuar con los demás usuarios de Hive, usar las redes sin límite, etc, yo vivo en internet, mi pc y yo, yo y mi pc, así que esto nos abre los horizontes.
Además de esto: acceso a bancos, noticias, a los familiares distantes...
Básicamente tener internet aquí en este sitio tan alejado de la ciudad, significa poner un pie en el siglo XXI.
Y esta es la historia de como gracias a Hive, @irenenavarroart, @pashinni, mi papá y el técnico, este lugar, metido en el monte, donde no llega nada, ni el transporte público, ahora tiene internet.

THE INSTALLATION...

That same night he checked what we had, he saw that a pipe was missing and went to look for it, the next day at 7am he was already getting everything on the roof.
He welded the parts very well, he made sure that there was more and not less than needed, I did something :D I held the tube for a minute so he could weld it to the house haha, most of the time I was around taking pictures, passing him things and holding it when it was necessary, I didn't wear a sweater or a cap and I got a sunstroke, well, things happen. As if the tube scratching the sky wasn't enough, he installed three 2cm diameter wires to secure it, I literally kicked the tube and it barely vibrates a little, but it doesn't move at all. When we sent the photo to the installation technician he was very surprised.
That was on Monday, yesterday the technician came, put all of his equipment on and surprise, at the height he had planned, the signal did not reach, he had to climb up to the "extra" that my dad placed, I think it is the longest range installation they have done, they always look for the antennas nearby, ours points to one on another town. For that I also thank our friend who came in his free time to see with his eyes and did not put the address in a pc and said "Sorry, we did not reach there" like all the other agencies I talked to.

Cuando cuentas cosas así me haces sentir que las trabas con las que me topo son nada y me siento tan quejumbrosa o impaciente, ya sabes que para mi mal internet es cuando un video tarda 5 segundos en cargar o traba es tener que entrar a 3 enlaces diferentes solo para llegar a un capítulo de Lot :P y por tus experiencias me haz ido dando más perspectiva, medio se me ha ido quitando lo quejumbrosa :P
Tremenda tu historia, realmente uno no sabe el valor del internet ilimitado hasta que no lo tiene, durante años disfrute de internet de CANTV lento pero ilimitado, recién me mude y aquí como extraño ese internet de CANTV, al llegar de bienvenida duramos 21 días sin señal de ningún tipo, ahora logro conectarme por medio de un bam de movistar, que realmente se puede usar de manera efectiva después de las 12am, por ello llevo algunos meses ausente de hive, sigo a la amiga Irene, es realmente brillante, y aunque poco activa por ahora llevo a hive en mi corazón.
