¿CUÁL ES TU MES FAVORITO DEL AÑO? / WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR?

Hola amigos estoy muy feliz de estar nuevamente por aquí, el día de hoy vengo con algo diferente, vi que el hiver @oigres realizó un post en donde habla sobre su mes favorito del año, lo que me llamó mucho la atención ya que si tengo un mes favorito, creo que ya por la primera fotografía lo ven, y si, el mes de Diciembre es mi mes favorito. Como sabemos casi todos tenemos un mes favorito, ya sea por nuestro cumpleaños o el de nuestras personas cercanas, una fecha importantes, entre otros, pero en mi caso el mes de Diciembre siempre a sido mi favorito, comparto el mismo pensamiento de @oigres; el mes de Diciembre significa para muchos de nosotros fiestas, reuniones familiares, es una época para compartir la familia, amigos, vecinos, compañeros de trabajo y conocidos; es un mes que significa amor, amistad, tolerancia y perdón.

Hello friends I am very happy to be here again, today I come with something different, I saw that the hiver @oigres made a post where he talks about his favorite month of the year, which caught my attention since I do have a favorite month, I think that from the first photograph you see it, and yes, the month of December is my favorite month. As we know, almost everyone has a favorite month, either for our birthday or that of our close people, an important date, among others, but in my case the month of December has always been my favorite, I share the same thought as @oigres; December means for many of us parties, family reunions, it is a time to share family, friends, neighbors, work colleagues and acquaintances; it is a month that means love, friendship, tolerance and forgiveness.

Yo cumplo el 7 de junio y no les voy a negar que me encanta junio porque en ese mes nací, pero el mes de diciembre incluye muchas cosas más que hacen que sea mi mes favorito. Vengo de una familia en la que siempre hemos estado acostumbrados a celebrar las navidades, compramos ropa para estrenar, nos reunimos para hacer las cenas, y aunque no hacíamos hallacas ya que nunca nos acostumbramos a eso; otros familiares iban y nos regalaban las cuales eran bien recibidas jaja.

My birthday is June 7 and I'm not going to deny that I love June because I was born in that month, but the month of December includes many more things that make it my favorite month. I come from a family in which we have always been used to celebrating Christmas, we buy brand-new clothes, we get together to make dinners, and although we didn't do Hallas since we never got used to it; other relatives came and gave us gifts which were well received haha.

Desde que papá se fue del país, las navidades no fueron las mismas, incluso puedo decir que no tengo casi fotos de estas últimas navidades, para nosotras las navidades no eran lo mismo sin él. En mi corazón se había apagado un poco eso, ya que sentía que; ¿para qué hacer una fiesta? ¿para qué hacer cenas si él se había ido?, así que después de pensar y madurar me di cuenta que así como estuve y sigo pasando las navidades extrañándolo, también a muchas personas aquí en Venezuela que la pasan igual e incluso peor que yo, entendí que él está allá pero haciendo un bien, mi padre nunca me abandonó, todavía me sigue ayudando y eso me hizo sentirme más fuerte, entendí que la vida es una sola y que ya se sale de mis manos el que el esté allá, y que yo también debía disfrutar de mis familiares que estaban aquí, de mi mamá, de mi hermana, mis abuelos, tíos, tías, de mi pareja, y eso comencé a hacer. Si, el que mi papa se haya ido fue y sigue siendo duro para mi, ya mi corazón se había apago y al mismo tiempo enfriado, pero poco a poco entendí que mi vida también vale y que debía seguir, debía estar bien para que cuando él regresara me encontrara sana y feliz. Así que comencé a ver la vida diferente y mi amor por las navidades volvió, amo el mes de diciembre, me encanta, se siente una paz cuando respiras, me da mucha nostalgia la verdad.

Since dad left the country, Christmas was not the same, I can even say that I have almost no photos of these last Christmas, for us Christmas was not the same without him. In my heart that had faded a bit, since I felt that; Why have a party? Why have dinners if he had left? So after thinking and growing up I realized that just as I have been and continue to spend Christmas I miss him, also many people here in Venezuela who have the same and even worse than me, I understood that he is there but doing good, my father never abandoned me, he still continues to help me and that made me feel stronger, I understood that life is one and that it is out of my hands that he is there, and that I should also enjoy my family members who were here, my mother, my sister, my grandparents, uncles, aunts, my partner, and I began to do that. Yes, the fact that my father has left was and continues to be hard for me, my heart had already faded and at the same time cooled, but little by little I understood that my life is also valid and that I should continue, it should be fine so that when He will return to find me healthy and happy. So I began to see life differently and my love for Christmas returned, I love the month of December, I love it, you feel a peace when you breathe, the truth makes me very nostalgic.

Una de las cosas que también me encanta, es escuchar las gaitas. La gaita es un género musical del estado de Zulia en Venezuela; el concepto mal empleado de gaita se hizo para ganar popularidad, copiando el término de las gaitas iberoamericanas, pero sin ninguna similitud musical. En 2014 fue declarado bien patrimonial de interés cultural y artístico de Venezuela.

Los instrumentos mas comunes son: Furro, cuatro, maracas, charrasca y tambora, entre otros.

The bagpipe is a musical genre from the state of Zulia in Venezuela; the misused concept of bagpipes was made to gain popularity, copying the term from the Ibero-American bagpipes, but without any musical similarity.
