Saludos, amigos de HIVE. Esta es mi tercera entrada para el reto propuesto por la amiga @vaneaventuras de la comunidad @LovinHIVE. Me gusta mucho este reto porque nos permite reflexionar sobre los motivos que tenemos para agradecer la presencia de HIVE en nuestras vidas. En este tercer día la agenda propuesta en la invitación indica expresar mi agradecimiento a HIVE, por acercarme a la Blockchain.
Greetings, friends of HIVE. This is my third entry for the challenge proposed by my friend @vaneaventuras from the @LovinHIVE community. I really like this challenge because it allows us to reflect on the reasons we have to be grateful for the presence of HIVE in our lives. On this third day the agenda proposed in the invitation indicates my gratitude to HIVE for approaching the Blockchain.

Antes de entrar a la antigua Blockchain era muy poco lo que conocía sobre esta tecnología. Sí había oído hablar del Bitcoin pero sin prestarle mucha atención, eran temas que estaban completamente fuera de mis áreas de interés. En aquel tiempo me dedicaba a mi actividad como docente universitario y mis lecturas eran sobre Filosofía y Ciencias Sociales.
Before entering the old Blockchain there was very little I knew about this technology. I had heard about Bitcoin, but without paying much attention to it, they were topics that were completely outside my areas of interest. At that time I was working as a university professor and my readings were about Philosophy and Social Sciences.
Una sobrina me habló de una nueva red social en la que podía obtener beneficios económicos compartiendo mis publicaciones, me dio las referencias y me entusiasmé con la idea. Desde ese momento me dediqué a investigar todo lo que pude para conocer ese nuevo mundo digital, y al día de hoy todavía es mucho lo que me falta por aprender.
A niece told me about a new social network where I could obtain economic benefits by sharing my publications, she gave me the references and I became enthusiastic about the idea. From that moment on, I dedicated myself to researching everything I could to get to know this new digital world, and to this day there is still much to learn.
Por suerte para mí en aquellos días, mientras investigaba, se hizo un encuentro en mi ciudad promovido por los usuarios de la comunidad de Cervantes. Allí pude tomar contacto con personas que participaban de la primera red social montada en la tecnología Blockchain.
Luckily for me in those days, while I was researching, a meeting was held in my city promoted by the users of the Cervantes community. There I was able to make contact with people who participated in the first social network mounted on the Blockchain technology.
Como consecuencia de ese encuentro mi interés creció y cada día me vi más involucrado con esta aventura digital.
As a consequence of that meeting my interest grew and every day I became more involved with this digital adventure.

A medida que he ido conociendo sobre la tecnología Blockchain me he dado cuenta de sus posibilidades infinitas. Esta aplicación del ingenio humano tiene la capacidad de aportar muchas soluciones a los problemas de nuestro tiempo.
As I have learned about the Blockchain technology I have realized its infinite possibilities. This application of human ingenuity has the capacity to provide many solutions to the problems of our time.
No sería exagerado decir que todo el mundo contemporáneo se mueve sobre la base de informaciones. Todo el tiempo se está generando un gigantesco volumen de datos, para aplicarlos a las actividades más diversas. Conservar, ordenar y manejar tal volumen de datos es todo un desafío, y es en ese mar de informaciones donde la tecnología Blockchain juega su mejor carta.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that the whole contemporary world moves on the basis of information. All the time a gigantic volume of data is being generated, to be applied to the most diverse activities. To preserve, order and manage such a volume of data is a challenge, and it is in this sea of information where Blockchain technology plays its best card.
Al día de hoy la Blockchain es la tecnología que ofrece la mayor seguridad para el manejo de las informaciónes. Esto se debe a una cualidad única aplicable a los bloques de información: su irreversibilidad.

En mi cotidianidad me sirvo de la tecnología Blockchain para resolver mis problemas financieros. Con mucha frecuencia transfiero fondos de mi monedero digital para un Exchange, que me los convierte a la moneda local, de ese modo puedo hacer los pagos que necesito.
In my daily life I use the Blockchain technology to solve my financial problems. Very often I transfer funds from my digital wallet to an Exchange, which converts them to the local currency, that way I can make the payments I need.
