Leonardo Spinazzola, uno de los mejores jugadores de la selección italiana en este torneo, le dice adiós a la copa tras una lesión. tiene una rotura subcutánea en el tendón de Aquiles izquierdo. Lastimosamente el lateral de la Roma termina así su increíble pasó en esta Eurocopa 2020.

Spinazzola fue uno de los convocados por el director técnico Roberto Mancini para afrontar esta Eurocopa 2020. La noche en donde la azzurra vencería en Múnich, noche dulce, pero amarga para Spinazzola, sus compañeros, los fanáticos italianos, y amantes de ver un buen fútbol.
Al minuto 75´ tras una carrera con Thorgan Hazard, Spinazzola miró al banquillo y pidió un cambio urgente. Saldría en una camilla con lagrimas en los ojos, porque ya sabia que era seria la lesión. Lastimosamente el lateral italiano se sometió a los exámenes que confirmaron tras un comunicado que las pruebas en el hospital Sant'Andrea de Roma detectaron una rotura subcutánea en el tendón de Aquiles izquierdo y que el jugador volverá de inmediato a disposición de su club, la Roma.
Hay situaciones a la cual cada jugador está expuesto, nadie está excepto de una lesión. En este caso es muy lamentable por de Leonardo, que se regresó a Italia, con mucha tristeza. Porque estaba teniendo un excelente torneo. Esperemos que pueda recuperarse antes de los previsto, aunque es una baja sensible para Italia, los italianos en su próximo partido saldrán con todo, y dispuestos avanzar a la final de esta Eurocopa 2020.
