Ayer Miércoles 25 de Noviembre del año 2020, falleció un ídolo y un icono en el fútbol mundial, el gran "pelusa" y "cebollita", Diego Armando Maradona Franco, de nacionalidad Argentina, quien dijo Adiós a los 60 años de edad, dejando en los corazones de muchos amigos y compañeros de equipo un dolor imborrable y que será difícil asimilarlo, más que todo para su familia, quienes lloran la muerte del astro Argentino.

Sin embargo, solo le basto un mes para que "pelusa" marcará su primeros dos goles con el primer equipo, en una tarde mágica, donde se le ganó a San Lorenzo de Mar del Plata. Después de haber sorprendido a propios y extraños, Maradona, siguió dejando marcas espectaculares con Argentinos Juniors, cuando se consagró como el máximo artillero de los torneos Metropolitano 1978, 79, 80 y Nacional 1979 y 80.

Diego, se ganó el cariño de los fanáticos con su gambeta y desequilibrio en cada uno de los partidos, resaltando por su lectura de juego, actitud y capacidad para afrontar compromisos decisivos, como por ejemplo: el 10 de Abril, en la cual Boca Juniors derroto 3 por 0 a River Plate en el superclásico, donde la principal figura fue nada más y nada menos que Maradona, marcando un gran gol, dejando fuera del camino a Fillol y Tarantini, con una destreza descomunal. Para terminar un ciclo exitoso, Maradona, festejo el campeonato del Torneo Metropolitano de 1981, para posteriormente, concluir su estadía el 6 de Febrero en su último partido frente a River Plate.

Seguidamente, en el año 1982, llegó a las filas "Blaugranas" un jugador súper dotado y con una calidad increíble, este sin duda alguna, es Diego Armando Maradona, quien arribo al Fútbol Club Barcelona de España, con la satisfacción de poder hacer una gran temporada con el conjunto Español, que por si fuera poco, tenia como director técnico al Alemán Udo Lattek, que hizo debutar a Diego un 3 de Agosto de 1982 ante el elenco Aleman, SV Meppen. En sus primeros partidos, dejó buena impresión, aunque los resultados no lo acompañaron consigo. Tristemente, en la campaña 1983 las lesiones le jugaron una mala pasada a "pelusa", donde sería retirado en camilla por una grave lesión en el tobillo de la pierna izquierda roto, es decir, una fractura del maléolo externo y del ligamento. Luego de unos meses, aporto su granito de arena con el FC Barcelona, aportando 11 goles en 16 partidos jugados.

Su paso por el Napoli (1984-92), Sevilla (1992-93) y Newell's Old Boys (1993-94) fueron para él un sinónimo de lucha y esfuerzo, más que todo con el conjunto Italiano, donde consiguió la Copa de la UEFA Y dos (2) scudettos, para así, llevar al equipo a lo más alto y posicionarse entre los primeros de la Seria A de Italiana por varios años, ganándose eternamente los corazones de los fanáticos azules, quienes siguen llorando y dándole un merecido homenaje a Maradona, el Gran número 10 de Argentina. Son muchos los clubes que se pronunciaron en Twitter acerca del fallecimiento de Maradona, lo que para mi me da a entender el sentimiento y el valor futbolístico que dejo Cebollita en los equipos donde estuvo.

La Copa del Mundo de México 1986, fue el consagración de Diego como campeón, donde logro anotarle dos goles a Bélgica en la semifinal y posteriormente Argentina venció 3 por 2 a Alemania en la gran final. Luego, en 1994 Maradona tuvo su primera batalla de fuego como entrenador, tras dirigir a Mandiyú de Argentina, un año después lo contrato Racing Club y finalmente tomo las riendas de la selección de Argentina, consiguiendo el boleto al Mundial de Sudáfrica 2010, donde cayó en los Cuartos de Final a manos de Alemania, con un marcador de 4 goles por 0, en lo que sería el termino de un ciclo regular como estrega de la Albiceleste. De igual manera, entre 2011-12 se sumo a su cuarto equipo como entrenador, dirigiendo a Al-Wasl de Emiratos Árabes Unidos, seguidamente, en la temporada 2017-18 nuevamente dirige a un equipo de Emiratos Àrabes Unidos, en esta oportunidad, al club de Al-Fujairah, donde sólo dirigió en 11 partidos. Su transitar como director técnico no fue tan bueno que digamos, por eso, decidió ir al Fútbol de México para dirigir a Dorados de Sinaloa en la campaña 2018-19, ganándose a los fanáticos Mexicanos con sus emotivas y cautivadoras palabras del gran "pelusa". Finalmente, en 2020, Gimnasia de La Plata contrato a Diego como estratega, con el fin de lo que jugadores sintieran un apoyo extra de un futbolista que lo dio todo por la selección y en cada club donde dejó una huella.
