Blogging Challenge Day 19: MY DESKTOP AND PHONE WALLPAPER

avatar

Good afternoon! Oh wow, it's been a while since I've posted at this time. I usually post at dawn or early morning but today is a bit different because I cleaned some parts of my room, removed spider webs around the house, and washed my bedding and some clothes. Lucky the sun went out for a few hours in the morning so my laundry dried before the rain poured again. My hands are tired at the moment but I felt I needed to write the next blogging challenge before I sleep. :)

The 19th blogging challenge asks you to show your desktop and phone wallpaper. The blogging challenge was initiated by @tegoshei. Check the list of the challenges on her post, Let's Do A 30-Day Blogging Challenge!!!

MY DIGITAL HOME

DESKTOP

My desktop wallpaper is my drawing of LiSA, a Japanese anime song/pop/rock singer. That's it. Next!

Lol. Just kidding! Okay, I will explain.. 😂

This drawing was my first semi-realistic drawing so it's kind of special for me. I used it as my wallpaper to remind me of my art journey and how awesome it is to be able to draw in semi-realistic style (even though it's very difficult for me.) Of course, it is also to remind myself that my first favorite Japanese singer is LiSA!

I made this drawing last 2017 and this costume of LiSA was for her current album that time which was "Little Devil Parade" (LDP). She looked really cute with the costume and hairstyle, that's what motivated me to draw her in semi-realistic!

Meanwhile, let's proceed the contents of my desktop. As you can see it's a little messy since I haven't really organized my files for years now. 😂 There are lots of old programs in there and it's understandable because my laptop is 10 years old now. (But still working fine.) I also pinned the programs I mostly used and those that I might forget like the Sony Vegas and Anime Studio Debut which came as a bundle with my drawing tablet. I have never used the Anime Studio Debut since I wasn't very much interested in animation when I got it so I just let license expire. Lol.

On top of the taskbar is a 10-year-old dock where I put the programs I needed for school back then. I never changed it. Hahaha! The dock appears when I pull my cursor down. The Pucca icon you see on the dock was my work for an activity on our Multimedia subject.

By the way, I turned the color of my drawing in black and white so I could easily find and read the icons. My eyes hurt a bit from bright and colorful background that's why I opted for a monotone color. It looked more relaxing to stare at. :)

PHONE

Next, is my phone! Well, my phone wallpaper is just the same as my desktop wallpaper, except that it's the colored one! You might wonder, didn't I say my eyes doesn't like bright and colorful background? Of course, I mean it. What made me staring at this colorful drawing on my phone bearable was the night light or the blue light filter on other phones. With night light, it will turn the colors warm which I can adjust too to my liking. The brightness level of phone is also at 0%. People who looks at my phone often complain that the screen is too dark. Lol. This has been my phone wallpaper since 2017. I don't think I will change it any time soon because it's my favorite wallpaper no matter how many drawings I make in the future. :)

Well, nothing special on the apps at the homepage, just the default ones. The other apps are on the next the page when you swipe left but I don't think it's necessary to talk about since this is just about wallpapers. hehe

That's all for this post! Thanks for reading!
