Honestly, it’s been a while since my last power-up. And I do really want to, to make my hive power more influential or at least will have a considerable amount of up-vote, as I really want to curate myself those, quality but unnoticed or underrated articles of a lot of hivers around.

If only I have the power to change something here on #hive I would really create a separate group of curators that will focus on quality, informative or entertaining posts and not much about politics or to whom you know system.

Yes, I see a lot of posts with less than 50 words but garnered very high up-votes and much sensible content with more than 1000 words and yet only received cents.

But I think there’s nothing I can do, that is how things work here and I respect those who have big hive powers to use their votes in any way they want, after all, it's their hp not mine.

So the best thing to do is still to produce quality content, consistently submit quality articles at least once a day and interact actively with other members, and then perhaps join in any contests to get the chance to be given hp delegations and most importantly, be able to manage your wallet effectively.

Having said that, today I will participate in the global initiative of @streetstyle and @traciyork for the HIVE POWER UP DAY, hoping I could do it every first day of the month in the succeeding months.

This is my current wallet status, I know my hp is still very low but I’m hoping that I could increase it in the next few days. So this power-up would be one good move in order for my hp to increase, maybe little by little but at least it’s definitely moving up.

And after powering up this is how it looks now. I know there’s not much difference but sooner or later I will gradually increase it.

So that’s the story of my very first power up as an entry to this wonderful initiative, to encourage everyone to keep and save hive and be able to contribute to the betterment of the platform and at the same time be able to help others especially the new ones in curating their post with a substantial amount of up-vote.
