Empowering Women and Spreading Awareness at School: National Women’s Month Celebration!💜

Hello to all of my friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this lovely @hiveph community! 👋

How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing fine right now. It’s been a while since I’ve posted life blogs here and now here I am again, @lj1728 to share another simple life story with you all.💕

Last Friday, our school celebrated “National Women’s Month”, and it turned out to be a meaningful and joyful day for everyone. The celebration was organized to honor and recognize the strength, contributions, and importance of women in our community. It was a simple event, but it was filled with learning, laughter, and excitement.

The program started in the morning with a short opening ceremony attended by teachers, staff, and some guests. One of the highlights of the program was the invited speaker from the Philippine National Police (PNP). The speaker dicussed an important topic about “Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC)”. It was a very informative discussion that reminded is about the importance of protecting women and children and knowing our rights. The speaker also encouraged everyone to be aware, to speak up when necessary, and to support victims who may be experiencing abuse.

While listening to the talk, I realized how important it is to have programs like this, especially in schools and communities. It helps people become more aware pf serious issues and reminds us that everyone deserves respect and protection.

After the discussion, the atmosphere became more lively because it was time for the raffle draw. Many of us were excited and curious about who would win the prizes. Honestly, I didn’t expect to win anything because there were many participants. But to my surprise and happiness, my name was called as one of the winners!

I was very lucky because I won a heater in the raffle. I felt so happy and grateful when I received the prize. It was such an unexpected blessing that made my day even more special. My coworkers congratulated me, and we shared some laughs about my lucky moment.
