Beer Tasting: Omnivar Šluk and Black Magic Woman

Hello beer tasters! 🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

I was just looking forward to Friday to write this. Why? I haven’t drunk any alcohol at all since my last beer tasting!
I know it’s hard to believe, especially if it’s part of an evening habit, but it’s true!

I looked at these two beers in the fridge all week, I was tempted every night, but I stopped. Hey man, give up, but what are you an alcoholic or something that you won't last a couple of days without a beer.

Well, finally this solemn day has come! The taste of the beer will be even better after this time, haha, maybe it won't be an objective assessment, but let's say it will be :) 😎

Omnivar Šluk

It's brewed by microbrewery Omnivar, Ljubljana , Slovenia. Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.3% ABV.
This beer is, at least so they claim on the website, Kölsch-style beer. Well, because I didn't know what it was, I went to look somewhere where they say it is:

The Kölsch is a clean, crisp, delicately-balanced, pale gold to light gold beer with a very subtle fruit and hop character and brilliant clarity.
It's an appellation protected by the Kölsch Konvention and is restricted to the breweries in and around Köln so brewers outside the area usually described the beer as being Kölsch-Style.

The beer is a foggy bright yellow color, with a lot of foam. In Slovene jargon, Šluk means a sip and the first sip was exactly as described, it runs smoothly down the throat, and the mouth immediately feels a pronounced bitterness of hops with notes of fruity aromas of apple and citrus, which disappear towards the end and only the taste of bitter hops remains after the last sip.
Fresh, extremely well-balanced flavors, I think it's great, I recommend it to all beer drinkers if they get it in a store. I found it at a local Lidl store.

Black Magic Woman

It's a dark beer, IBA (India Black Ale), bottle 0.5l, alcohol 6% ABV, brewed by microbrewery (pub) Mali Grad, Kamnik, Slovenia. As I read on FB and Google maps, very friendly staff and top-quality beer. Well, we'll see ...

The beer is dark brown in color, with a medium but firm foam. Already in the first sip, I felt chocolate and orange in my mouth and in the background a solid bitterness of hops that lasted until the end. Another sip and the same taste was repeated. A real dessert I would say, very tasty, but not too chilled at all.

What should I say now?

Those two beers were great. Maybe because I haven't tried beer in a week? Or are they really top-notch and deserve the obligatory space in my fridge? I think the second is true.
The only problem I will have for a while is that all the other beers I drink will suck :)
