Beer Tasting: Black Jack and Gringo

Hello beer tasters! 🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

Friday night, I'm home because covid19 is destroying our society again and the most complex question I'm thinking about at the moment is - which beer first?

I have two beers to try, one is dark, stout and one is IPA. In my last post, I started with a light lager and ended with dark stout. Well, today it will be the other way around.

Black Jack stout

Brewed by craft brewery Vizir, Črnomelj, Slovenia. Stout, 0.33 l, alcohol 5.0 %. They say that's a dark beer with notes of chocolate and coffee of intense and full taste! Very nice, I didn't drink coffee this afternoon so it will be just right :)

The beer is dark brown, the foam is large and very stable. The first sip is very thick and bitter, I really feel the coffee, not even chocolate (maybe dark chocolate without sugar?), The bitterness lasts, only at the end, the sweetness of the malt is discreetly felt. This beer is fine, I have no comments. Yes, I'm already thinking about stopping drinking coffee in the morning and drinking this beer instead of coffee ... I'll see, because I don't know how it would work, but you can't drink alcohol at work ... :) 😎

Gringo American IPA

Gringo is from the same brewery, a bottle 0.33 l, alcohol 6.0% ABV. Nice combination of caramelized and roasted malt with four hops, they say. Yeah, combinations are always welcome but the results are various, usually.

The beer is orange in color, the foam is firm and lasts a long time. Classic IPA runs down my throat, the bitterness of hops is in the foreground, and the aromas of herbs and citrus can be felt next to it. And it lasts, unchanged until the last sip and beyond.

Very good that they managed to prolong this specific taste. I like this beer too. I will have to try something else from this brewery. Vizir (in English Visor), brews 68 types of beer, also for other customers, not just for themselves.

And what do I listen to when dealing with Visors?
Radiohead - Ful stop, who are deeply immersed in electronics in this piece and it sounds great.
