Nicht nur ein Augenschmaus / Not only a feast for the eyes 😎🍻

Der Samstag ist zwar schon lange vorbei, aber das Bier schmeckt auch an einem Dienstag und da @detlev als großzügiger Veranstalter seines 206. BeerSaturday die Sache nicht ganz so verbissen sieht, hat auch der folgende Beitrag noch Gültigkeit und bewirbt sich somit um einen der begehrten Preise die es zu gewinnen gibt.
Besser geht es nicht, Bier trinken und mit etwas Glück auch noch dafür bezahlt zu werden.
Wo gibt es denn so etwas?

Saturday is long gone, but the beer tastes even on a Tuesday and since @detlev as a generous organizer of his 206th BeerSaturday sees the matter not quite so dogged, the following contribution is still valid and thus applies for one of the coveted prizes to be won.

Ich hatte das Glück mal wieder eine Flasche aus der an der Algarve ansässigen Craft Bier Brauerei dos Santos zu ersteigern, die mir schon in der Vergangenheit sehr positiv aufgefallen war, unvergesslich das erste und einzige portugiesische Pils Bier welches seinem Namen alle Ehre machte.
Heute aber soll es ein IPA sein.

I was lucky enough to bid for a bottle from the Algarve-based craft beer brewery dos Santos, which I had already noticed very positively in the past, unforgettably the first and only Portuguese Pils beer which lived up to its name.
Today, however, it should be an IPA.

Das Etikett, bei allen Flaschen aus diesem Hause ziemlich ähnlich und recht einfach gehalten, verrät mir das es sich bei diesem Indian Pale Ale um ein ungewöhnlich leichtes Bier handelt, sind 4,7% Vol/Alc für ein IPA doch eher ein Witz.

The label, quite similar to all bottles from this house and kept quite simple, tells me that this Indian Pale Ale is an unusually light beer, 4.7% Vol/Alc for an IPA but rather a joke.

Dafür beruhigt die Zutatenliste, denn auf abenteuerliche Zusätze beim Brauen wurde verzichtet und es ist nur drin was rein gehört.
Ob die Hausinterne Beschreibung, den Geschmack betreffend zutrifft, wird sich gleich zeigen.

For this, the list of ingredients is reassuring, because adventurous additives in brewing were dispensed with and it is only in it what belongs purely.
Whether the in-house description of the taste is true, we will soon see.

Wow, rein optisch ist es schon ein Augenschmaus.
„ Eine schöne Balance aus geschmackvollem Malz und fruchtigem amerikanischen Hopfen - weich und befriedigend „ behaupten die Brauer.
Sie haben völlig recht und ich habe dem nichts hinzuzufügen, das Bier schmeckt einfach köstlich und einmal mehr beweisen die Brauer aus dem Süden des Landes, das sie etwas von ihrem Handwerk verstehen.

Wow, purely visually it is already a feast for the eyes.
" A nice balance of flavorful malt and fruity American hops - smooth and satisfying " the brewers claim.
They are right and I have nothing to add, the beer tastes simply delicious and once again the brewers from the south of the country prove that they know something of their craft.

Gut das ich nur eine Flasche vorrätig hatte, denn die Versuchung ein paar mehr zu trinken war groß.
Beim Einkaufspreis von 2,70 Euro sicher kein Bier für alle Tage, aber hin und wieder werde ich mir davon mal wieder eins gönnen.
PRÄDIKAT: Absolut empfehlenswert! 😎🍻

Good that I had only one bottle in stock because the temptation to drink a few more was great.
At the purchase price of 2.70 euros certainly not a beer for all days, but sometimes I will treat myself to one of them again.
PREDICTION: Very recommendable!
