Cervejaria Colorado is the first Cervejaria Artesanal do Brasil, founded by Marcelo Carneiro, in 1996. Born in Ribeirão Preto, Cervejaria Colorado strongly supports local micro producers, who produce inputs for their creative adhesives.
Since its founding, Colorado has had the value of typically Brazilian ingredients in its beers. Honey, soursop, rapadura, grapes, red fruits, Brazil nuts, manioc, coffee, paçoca, guava, mate, lemon and garapa are some of the elements of Brazil that have already been used in recipes.
The unique flavors of these blends generate a different aroma for traditional beer styles. The brewery has its manufacturing process as part of its essence, natural, manual, handcrafted. It is no coincidence that Colorado is today the most awarded brewery in Brazil, collecting medals at the World Beer Awards, the International Beer Challenge and several other festivals.
