Greetings wonderful Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia!

It's Saturday, once again, and that means CATURDAY, my favorite day of the week for sharing cat and kitten pictures!

Here in the USA, it's also the Independence Day Holiday weekend, so lots of people are going to be out and about with family, cooking BBQs and such, this weekend!

Helping with paperwork!

But that's not until tomorrow!

Today I am helping the Dad-Hooman sort a large pile of paperwork he needs to file away, along with all sorts of receipts and stuff he uses for something he calls "bookkeeping."

I don't see any books though... so I decided to just take a nap here!

Good place to nap, good place to supervise!

This way I can also be in "standby mode" in case I need to help with some of the computer work... including my blog!

No, cats are not lazy... we help our Hoomans with all sorts of things.

This headrest leaves a lot to be desired, as a pillow, however!

Not so comfortable....

Hardfork Thoughts...

Meanwhile, we had a "Hardfork" here in the world of Hive, and I have to admit that I am very impressed with how smoothly it went!

In the past it seems we pretty much always had some kind of major chaos that would throw the entire community into chaos for a few days... sometimes weeks... but that didn't seem to happen, this time!

Well done, to all those who worked to make it happen so smoothly!

I'm going back to sleep now!

Sure, there was the "curation mix-up" but that seems relatively minor, in the greater scheme of things.

Perhaps not "minor" if you run a curation service... but things could be worse!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend, and I wish you all a very happy Caturday!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
