Happy Caturday Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia!

I hope everyone is warm and safe on this winter Saturday... we've actually had a bit of sunshine, which is not so common here in the Pacific Northwest.

In the morning, the sun hits the side of the house where the Mom-Hooman's office is located, so I have been hanging out up there... today's Caturday photos are courtesy of her (@whitelightxpress)!

This is my place in the sun!

Cats should always have warm and comfortable napping spots, so she has made me this spot on top of an old steamer trunk... where I have soft blankets and a view of the driveway.

In winter, this is where we get the morning sun, so I really enjoy it... by the end of April, the sun becomes blocked by the trees, when they get their leaves.

Look at all those STARS!

That white round looking thing in the previous photo is a glass mosaic candleholder, and the sun reflects off it like hundreds of tiny mirrors. I find all those little light spots fascinating!

Most of the time, though, I'm just watching the birds outside.

I'm ready for my close-up!

On the whole, these have been quiet times for us, since both the Mom-Hooman and Dad-Hooman work from home... so we don't really go out into the virus-infected world.

The Hoomans are a bid sad this past week, though... several of their friends suddenly died unexpectedly, pretty much all at the same time.

I try to divide my time between them, so they always have the comfort of a cat!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
