Greetings Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia!

It looks a lot like I'm developing a bit of a track record of actually missing Caturday, and then making up for it with the post on Sunday!

I wonder whether there is a cat related term we can use in connection with Sundays?

Happy cat in the sun...

Not so much happening in the world of Curator Cat these days because the humans are very busy tending to their outdoor projects because it is late spring, and that means planting season. You see, my Hoomans are somewhat of what you might call "Urban Homesteaders," and grow a lot of their own food. Occasionally I get to go out with them so I can sniff things and roll around in the grass. Most of the time though I stay inside take naps and harass the dog!

I keep the dog always wondering what'll happen next!

I suppose a lot of eyes are on the crypto markets these days. Many people have seen their holdings cut in half over the past couple of weeks, but I think we sometimes lose sight of the fact that this is an inherently risky industry we are part of here.

Of course I try not to worry too much about it because my primary purpose in being here is... well... keeping a cat blog. And as long as I can keep on keeping doing that I'm going to be pretty content! In the meantime, anything else favorable that happens is pretty much a bonus as far as I'm concerned. But I also recognize that that puts me in the minority.

I try to remind myself that we've been up and down a lot around here. I also remind myself that just six months ago we had $0.10 Hive. So even though things just got a stiff haircut, we're still up 3.5 times in the past six months. And if you don't think that's a good rate of return you might pause for a reality check!

I'm not much of an Investor Cat but I have had pretty good luck simply "letting it build" and occasionally buying into a few promising tokens on Hive-Engine.

To that end, it's time for me to start exploring ”communities” again. We have a lot of interesting opportunities here inside the borders of Hivelandia! And one of my strategies is to get active when things are down... because that's when we get the most mileage from our efforts!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
