El pasado miércoles encontré a esa niña abandonada mientras iba en via a ver a unos cachorritos que estaban por ahi. Normalmente no puedo ver una cachorro o un gato en la calle porque me acerco a hacerles cariño y si tengo comida lo alimento. Lo único es que ya no los rescato como antes en los años anteriores y esto es porque no tengo los recursos adecuados para cuidarlos. Adoptar gatos y perros, o cualquier otro animal es como tener un hijo y se requieren atenciones y cuidados especiales. Por lo tanto, luego de haber pasado por experiencias no tan buenas con los gatitos que rescataba decidí no volver a hacerlos pasar necesidades y lo que hago es ayudarlos pero sin llevármelos a casa, y esto me parte el corazón en mil. En cuanto me acerque a esta bebe, me di cuenta que olia un poco mal, estaba muy sucia, no paraba de maullarme, yo deduje que tenia hambre y que quizá estaba enferma por el olor que expelía, pero no tenia más nada que darle sino mi cariño y amor por unos instantes. Luego la deje allí y me fui, pero me puse muy triste haberla déjalo, cuando estaba en casa no dejaba de recordarla y sentía culpa por no poder ayudarla. Al rato volví a pasar con un amigo para visitar a los cachorritos de una gata que recién dio a luz y que estaban cerca de la gatita que había visto antes. Pero mi amigo también le gustan los gatos, y le comente sobre la gata que habia visto minutos antes y él en seguida se le acerco a la gata y la reviso a ver que tenia, estaba herida, una herida no muy fuerte. No lo penso ni dos veces y se la llevo para curarla, y ahora esta protegida en su casa.

Then I left her there and left, but I was very sad to have left her, when I was at home I couldn't stop remembering her and I felt guilty about her for not being able to help her. After a while I went back to spend with a friend to visit the puppies of a cat that just gave birth and they were close to the kitten that I had seen before. But my friend also likes cats, and I told him about the cat that I had seen minutes before and he immediately approached the cat and checked her to see that she had, was injured, a not very strong wound. I did not think twice and took her to heal her, and now she is protected in her house.

Lo primero que hicimos fue darle comida y bañarla, y típico gato al fin no se dejo fácilmente bañar. No se de donde saco fuerza y nos mordió y rasguño un poco, muy suavemente, nada grave. Luego nos llamo una vecina, diciendo que ella tenia antibiótico para la gata, porque ella quería rescatar a la gata pero tenia ya otra gata en su casa y temía que le contagiara algo a la suya. Se ofreció a darnos antibiótico y desinflamatorio, también un poquito de gatarina. Nos contó también que esa gatica que habíamos recogido tenia 5 días por ahí, y un perro de una vecina la mordió. Allí comprendimos que la herida que tenia era de la mordida del perro, días anteriores causada no por el perro sino por la irresponsabilidad de otra vecina. Esto me dio mucha molestia. El perro ha matado a varios gatos de la zona y obviamente la culpa no es del perro, sino de la inutilidad e irresponsabilidad de la vecina que quizá no le gustan los gatos, pero no se justifica que no tenga sensibilidad por la vida de otros seres vivos. La vecina que nos ayudo dijo un comentario de: " Hay que envenenar a ese perro" , claramente lo dijo molesta porque de verdad que da rabia pero esa no es la solución, la culpa no es del perro. La solución es que haya sentido de humanidad, de empatía y de respeto por la vida de cada ser viviente. Han habla con la dueña para que controle o baje con bozal al perro y no hay manera, a la vecina no le importa. Entonces, esto seguirá posiblemente pasando hasta que alguien verdaderamente se moleste y terminen matando a ese perro, que no es la idea. O las leyes y los proteccionistas de los animales en este país funcionen realmente.

The dog has killed several cats in the area and obviously the fault is not the dog, but the futility and irresponsibility of the neighbor who may not like cats, but it is not justified that he has no sensitivity for the lives of other beings alive. The neighbor who helped us said a comment of: "You have to poison that dog", she clearly said it, she annoyed because it really gives anger but that is not the solution, the fault is not the dog. The solution is that you have a sense of humanity, empathy and respect for the life of each living being. Han talks to the owner to control or muzzle the dog and there is no way, the neighbor does not care. So this will possibly continue to happen until someone really gets upset and they end up killing that dog, which is not the idea. Or the laws and animal protectionists in this country really work.

Seguidamente, la gatica tenia diarrea y a los 3 días comenzó a sangrar en las heces y me asusto ver la sangre. Por lo tanto, recurrimos a un veterinario y el doctor dice que es normal por la cantidad y frecuencia con que hace sus necesidades. Nos dijo que siguiéramos con el antibiótico para evitar infecciones. Dejo de sangrar y hace sus necesidades normales pero con mucha frecuencia.

Luego de 7 días la gatica se siente mejor, esta con mejor carita y más viva. Puede incluso sentarse normal, cosa que antes no podía hacer y eso me llena el corazón. Incluso he pensando en reconsiderar tomar algún curso de auxiliar de veterinario, cuando era pequeña quería ser veterinario pero mi fobia a la sangre me hizo dudarlo es si podía y seria capaz de hacerlo y lograrlo. Posiblemente en el próximo año lo hago para poder ayudar y apoyar a los animales indefensos en la calle de gente insensible.

Luego de 7 días la gatica se siente mejor, esta con mejor carita y más viva. Puede incluso sentarse normal, cosa que antes no podía hacer y eso me llena el corazón. Incluso he pensando en reconsiderar tomar algún curso de auxiliar de veterinario, cuando era pequeña quería ser veterinario pero mi fobia a la sangre me hizo dudarlo es si podía y seria capaz de hacerlo y lograrlo. Nunca he podido comprender, en los años que llevo de vida que tampoco es que son muchos, pero no comprendo como hay gente que maltrata a los animales, los queman, les hacen maldades. Tampoco comprendo el porque le dan mascotas a los niños de corta edad sin siquiera educarlos para que los respeten y que no los vean como un juguete o un peluche. Pienso que la educación parte del hogar, de como los padres se responsabilizan en el cuidado de sus hijos para que puedan darle amos a cualquier ser viviente, y esto solo hablando del respeto hacia los animales. Esto es un llamado a la conciencia para respetar y ser empaticos con los animales. Si ves un gato, un perro, un pájaro y no te gusta, te causa molestia, déjalo allí, seguramente alguien vendrá y lo amara por ser lo que es, pero no lo lastimes, respétalo. En este planeta hay espacio para todos, nosotros los seres humanos no estamos solos , aunque nos creemos los dueños no lo somos y no debemos sentirnos con propiedad de esta tierra, vamos de paso para aprender y compartir, evolucionar y dar amor.

I have never been able to understand, in the years that I have lived that it is not that there are many, but I do not understand how there are people who mistreat animals, burn them, do bad things to them. Nor do I understand why they give pets to young children without even educating them to respect them and not see them as a toy or stuffed animal. I think that education starts from the home, about how parents take responsibility in the care of their children so that they can give masters to any living being, and this only speaking of respect for animals. This is a call to conscience to respect and empathize with animals. If you see a cat, a dog, a bird and you do not like it, it causes you annoyance, leave it there, surely someone will come and love it for what it is, but do not hurt it, respect it. On this planet there is space for everyone, we human beings are not alone, although we believe we are the owners we are not and we should not feel that we own this land, we are going to learn and share, evolve and give love.
