[ENG][ESP] My Sunday, every step was worthwhile // Mi domingo, cada paso valió la pena

     Today my aunt, a friend and I decided to take a road to the Cocorotean mountains, we were thinking of leaving at 8 AM, but the weather was very cloudy, we waited for the sun to come out and then we ended up leaving at 11 AM.

     El día de hoy mi tía, un amigo y yo, decidimos emprender un camino hacia las montañas cocoroteñas, pensábamos salir a las 8 AM, pero el clima amaneció muy nublado esperamos a que saliera el sol y entonces terminamos saliendo a las 11 AM.

     At the beginning we were not sure where to go, if to the right side of the road where you can reach a beautiful waterfall, or, if to the left side where you can see a spectacular view and also some small waterfalls..

     En un inicio no teníamos claro a dónde ir, si al lado derecho del camino donde se llega a una cascada bellísima, o, si al lado izquierdo donde se ve una vista espectacular y también unas cascadas pequeñas.

     We decided to go to the left side and we started to climb the so-called "caracoles", a somewhat rough climb, on the way we were talking and appreciating the beautiful nature around us in those talks because of the strong sun that was illuminating us, when it was time to go up to the road where we were going, "El Junco", we changed our minds and continued on to Taracoa, In those conversations, looking ahead, there were some beautiful mountains, and I told my aunt that we should go to "La Pantalla", another viewpoint, then we passed Taracoa and continued climbing, the tiredness was gradually shaking us, we made a small stop on some stools that were on the road where we drank water and washed our faces.

     Decidimos ir hacia el lado izquierdo y comenzamos a subir los llamados “caracoles”, una subida un tanto ruda, en el camino íbamos conversando y apreciando la hermosa naturaleza que nos rodeaba en esas charlas por el sol tan fuerte que nos iluminaba, cuando tocaba subir hacia el camino donde nos dirigimos, "El Junco", cambiamos de parecer y seguimos de largo hasta Taracoa, en esas conversaciones, mirando hacia el frente, estaban unas montañas hermosas, y le dije a mi tía que fuéramos hacia "La Pantalla", otro mirador, luego pasamos Taracoa y seguimos subiendo, el cansancio poco a poco nos iba estremeciendo, hicimos una pequeña parada en unos banquitos que estaban en el camino en donde tomamos agua y nos lavamos la cara

     The three of us continued to climb that hill until we reached "La Pantalla", a beautiful viewpoint, although there were many mountains around it, you could still see the view.

     Seguíamos los tres ascendiendo ese cerro hasta llegar a “La Pantalla”, un mirador hermoso, aunque había mucho monte a su alrededor igual se alcanzaba ver la vista.

     A gentleman friend of my aunt invited us to his farm, which from there went down to a small waterfall, we decided to accept that proposal and we walked up a kilometer more until we got there, then we started to go down a path very carefully until we reached the waterfall.

     Un señor amigo de mi tía nos invita a su finca, que de ahí se bajaba hacia una cascadita, decidimos aceptar esa propuesta y caminamos hacia arriba un kilómetro más hasta llegar hasta allá, luego comenzamos a bajar por un sendero con mucha precaución hasta llegar a la cascadita.

     Everything in that place was very beautiful and perfect before my eyes. Definitely every step of those 17 km walked through the mountain, was totally worth it.

     Todo en ese lugar era muy hermoso y perfecto ante mis ojos. Definitivamente cada paso de esos 17 km caminados por la montaña, valieron totalmente la pena.

     On the way back we were getting energy by eating apple, carrot, orange, tangerine, cambur and when we were at the waterfall we had some soup, to get strength for the way back.

     De regreso veníamos agarrando energía comiendo manzana, zanahoria, naranja, mandarina, cambur y cuando estábamos en la cascada tomamos un poco de sopa, para agarrar fuerzas para el camino de regreso.
