Hello everybody,

Grateful to @phoenixwren I read her blog about this Street Art Contest initiated by @digi-me.

My entry is this Street Graffiti that our crochet group made.

Our local group Cebu Crochet Group was commissioned by The Outlet owned by Aboitiz Group of Companies to beautify their tress within the vicinity of Pueblo Verde a commercial establishments housing original branded products.

Beautiful work, very colorful... In Montreal, we also have a group that does this kind of work but on traffic signs or lights. It instantly makes the street more pleasant.

I love yarn bombing! And I love that they asked y'all to do it so it will get to stay. We had someone yarn bomb this statue here in Denver that is two figures dancing:

...whoever it was gave them legwarmers, which I think is awesome. But it didn't even get to stay up long enough for people to get photos of it. They did it in the early morning or in the middle of the night and people started noticing it who were commuting to work early, and by the time anybody went to take photos, the city had torn it down. :(

Oh my! Tsk why...people appreciate activities like that. The business around where we yarn bomb increase many post on their fb taking selfies with the yarnbomb trees at the background, so we were really proud as a group.
