Hello dear friends of Streetart, today I come to comment on my most recent experience in the streets of Caracas, which in recent times has been revolutionized in a positive way by a group of artists who develop or paint incredible murals, different from what we saw before in the avenues and bridges of the city.

Street artists have begun to evolve, now they work in a harmonious, beautiful way, to beautify the streets with paintings that give life.

Today I want to talk a little more about the artist BADSURA, I have presented several works of him; the truth is that I like the way you have to work, I see that focuses on capturing on the walls the good faces of our society, such as Simon Diaz, Oscar D`Leon that you can find very close to the Chacao subway station.

More recently I saw along Francisco de Miranda Avenue a lot of faces of notorious people from around the world such as Gandhi, Maria Teresa of Calcutta, Bolivar and South African President Nelson Mandela, among others. The eyes of all these characters take on a life of their own, transmitting peace, joy and the humility that characterizes them.

Badsura is a young man of about 30 years of age, who has traveled the world capturing his thoughts on the walls.

I was able to learn that his name is due to the comments he heard one day from one of the mayors of Chacao, who upon taking office said he was going to erase all the graffiti in the municipality, adding that it was garbage.

The graffiti artist felt alluded to, so he took that word and added the D, BADSURA. Since then he said to himself that he was going to show that mayor and all those who thought like that, that it was not trash, it was art, it was his free thought, his expression. Since then all the walls are being decorated with beautiful images.

The first image that I show you today I found at the entrance of Boyacá Park in the municipality of Chacao, it is a composition of two birds and two people, one adult and one younger. While trying to understand what this painting wanted to express I came to the conclusion that humans and the animal kingdom are one and we can all be free and live in a healthy peace, in a good environment without selfishness, where we can all share.

The second image I found on a trip I took with my family to the colonial town of Hatillo in the municipality of Baruta, very close to the municipality of Chacao in greater Caracas. BADSURA has also arrived here among other famous artists like Olivares.

This beautiful and representative tiger full of color caught my attention and I did everything I could to capture his image in a busy avenue of cars.
