Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery. Inside the walls. Part 1

This monastery is located on the outskirts of the city of Vologda. You can find out all the most interesting things about it from the Internet. I am not a historian, not a local historian, but a photographer, so I will only share my impressions, thoughts and tell a little about photography.

The series of photos is not particularly remarkable and only tells how the architectural component is arranged inside the walls of the monastery.

These are mostly introductory general views of documentary nature.

What can these images be used for?

Yes, you know, for a lot! Book, brochures, calendars, websites, social networks and much more to find!

Strange as it may sound for any photographer as a creative person - even the simplest and most banal views for you may be interesting to someone.

You've seen it a hundred times, but there are people who watch it for the first time. And, perhaps, thanks to such ordinary pictures of a place, they will want to visit it.

I was inside the walls of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery. There is power and greatness! And here is modesty and comfort.

As with any photography, here you also need to use diversity.

Incidentally, I realized this quite late. Previously, I could take pictures of the same type of landscapes and place them one after another together.

Now I can alternate pictures by angles, plans, color, shape and theme.

And it was not even my blog that influenced me, but the experience of newspaper layout.

Of course, everything is different everywhere. In a blog - one thing, on social networks - another, in a book - a third, and in a newspaper - a fourth...etc.

Everywhere there is a different allowable number of photos, everywhere a different approach to the text. But the main thing is - these are the rules and aesthetics of object placement.

If you first showed the general plan, then show the details of the object later. Alternatively, you can start with a close-up. This even exists in the video report! The rules are the same.

If you have a lot of medium plans, then you can alternate them by content.

If the content is approximately the same, then you can alternate in color.

And if everything is quite similar, then an exception is introduced, that is, another rule begins to work. This is when a lot of similar objects are published that differ minimally or they are shot from the same point.

In any case, you just need to learn to feel balance in everything. You need to know not only the balance in the photographic composition, but also the balance in the posting.
