▶️ Watch on 3Speak

In this zoom session I talk with @nivekpro and answer his questions about what’s in his hive wallet. and what strategy he should be using. I feel this Q&A style session is more useful than a one person learning style as all the right questions are asked. It also prepares me to do future session with much more people, teaching them the beauty and sophistication of the Hive blockchain. Have new friends on Hive or new yourself ? Watch this video to understand what’s in your Hive wallet.

PS: Love the fact that @3speak is now able to post into any hive community!

Are you moving ReggaeJahm to HIVE?

You mean the Jahm token I believe? The plan was to wait and see what HMTS have to offer to make a decision. That way we could integrate right into the hive community as that seems to be the present and the future. ReggaeSteem actually posts to hive and captures post from it, but the jahm token remains on steem. By the way, thanks for the delegation, I only realized recently.

What do you think is a good course of action?

What is HMTS? I think you should move JAHM to the hive-engine. Look at the value of them on steem-engine, they have plummeted to near nothing. Once they had some value. All the decent ones have moved across, I was hoping JAHM would too.

After today's facade, it makes it all the worse that anything projects should be built on STEEM.

To tell the truth, dealing with a token, a tribe and all the personalities involved was a stressful situation not worth it’s while. And then when things get sour people just walk away. But I am here.

I barely even looked at the price because it was mostly artificially made by self proclaimed market makers. I didn’t want to open back up the gates to hell right now on Hive until I see a way to heaven. It’s not like we are building on steem but it’s just parked there for now. And looking at the expenses on hive engine that it could incur is not enticing at all. Looking in Hive engine right now most tokens have a sell wall as long the great China wall. I really don’t think most value the tokens after they saw what happened after the fork.

HMTS are SMTS, that will be for communities. They should be ready before the end of the year.

I think if you can move Jahm over to Hive. After reading your response you should hold off. I didn't realize the whole process was so labor intensive. I guess with running anything or business there's going to be a lot of work involved.
To tell the truth like you said most people don't value the tokens. I think most of these tokens have a false sense of value anyway. It's like pretty much anyone could create a token and the market makers put some so called value to it. But will that value really relate to $$$$ in the long run.
My other reason why I think you to hold off, and I wanted to voice my opinion for a while now. I didn't know where to, but these comments provided the perfect opportunity. Reggaejahm doesn't have much community interaction. It doesn't feel like a community yet. I know things are new and come like when a new neighborhood build and new people just start coming in. It takes time I guess. I'm not much of an author but I'll do what I can to help lively up dih place.
Respect and blessings bredren 💪🏾💪🏾🇯🇲

Respect bredrin , definitely holding off until I see where it makes sense. I know it’s not a popular move, but it’s the move that feels right to me at this point, until a unique use case figured out.
Yup, most people don’t value the Hive engine tokens at all, ready to sell them all as soon as they get them. A few are doing there thing though.

Yeah Reggajahm doesn’t feel like a community yet. We don’t have much people posting and the ones that do post, just post and gone, and the thing is , yeah I can do the contest and reward for engagement but that shit not natural. And that is why Facebook will never die, people feel comfortable and motivated to contribute to a group over there without any incentive but a heart, and that’s powerful.
Respect bredda, yes I ,mek we lively up di place and create a vibe, cause a fiwi ting, fiwi culture. Bless up 🇯🇲🤜🏾🤛🏾.

Definitely have to do what feels right. Just relax and she how things play out. The advantage that Facebook has is that everything is simple. The problem with crypto on a whole is just to complicated, between dealing with wallets, encryption, passwords, forks, etc etc. It's just to much. People like simplicity. Until crypto figure out a way for the average non tech savvy person to interact, it won't adopt. Yeah with Hive, and Steem you can get incentivized, but you have to do to much. You have to save all the different private and public keys, deal with the different sign in procedures. Then to go through all of that make a post and not get any likes, thats just a headache. All that work for what. Then the process of converting back and forth from fiat to crypto. We the patient ones will definitely benefit in the long run though. At the rate the market is going who knows by time things get streamlined the new entry prices might not be much different.

Respect bredda. That is exactly what I’m trying to do, just relax for a bit and see how it plays out. and try come with something that makes sense instead. I hope people can respect and understand that there is no rush to this process. Jahm is already on
Hive , but I just haven’t made the switch over/airdrop , it can easily be done by linking the dev, but as me say it don’t feel like the right move at this time.

I feel as time goes on the complications will be less and the adoption will pick up as the technology matures. But Facebook ain’t going anywhere and it doesn’t need to. But one thing we need to
fix fast is the sign up process. Had a friend sign up the free way, 2 weeks later and still waiting.

It is difficult to argue that the belief in most coins is very staggering, but you need to be optimistic.
As they say, you need to enjoy the flight, lol.
You are not alone, lol, we are with you!

Hahaha it is staggering. I’m optimistic don’t get me wrong but every time someone asks about the token it stirs up all those bad feelings that were associated with it. It wasn’t a healthy experience for me or anyone involved.
I really believe that there is no rush to this. and when we are ready we will make the appropriate moves with the guidance of a higher power.

As you see in the video above I am helping people to understand hive, this is more important to me at the moment, before I barely had time to help inexperienced users and many left reggaeSteem/steem. Including Sean Paul’s manager.

Thanks for the support, it is appreciated. Hmmm sometimes I think it would be interesting to give everyone a good amount of jahm tokens and then ask “ so what are WE going to do to bring value to our token?”

At first, I saw a strange thing, which, to me, was not clear.
I thought that during quarantine, the activity of bloggers should increase, but, I see the opposite.
For me, it was strange, and, I began to figure out the details. It turns out that this is natural.
I found out that, in Jamaica, Internet services are quite expensive. Only two Internet operators serve the island. One has an affordable price, but low quality, the second has high speed Internet, but a high price. In a situation where people have to save, the Internet may be what they donate to, b, buy products. But, I think that activity will increase significantly after quarantine, and perhaps the time has come for the Jahm coin to expand its borders and go beyond Jamaica. I am trying to do this. Another point. When I worked as a foreman, I had to take care not only about the amount of work done, but also about the fact that the people who were in my submission were full and that they had somewhere to rest and sleep when we were on a business trip, far from home.
Think about expanding the recommended tags for popular coins, then, within the community, there will be a more favorable atmosphere and this will saturate active bloggers. For my part, I am ready to give all the votes to the community, but tag groups should line up in a beautiful row, lol.
A simple example.
Musicians can get quite large voices in TUNES and SonicGroove tokens from @roninrelax, but, he is forced to look for tags outside the community.
I have a strong voice in the coins PAL, NEOXAG, CreativeCoin, ACTNEARN, LIFESTYLE, NATRL, PHOTO, INT, MARLIANS, TLNT, DBLOG, DIAMOND, GG, somewhere, I'm a whale, lol, somewhere, I'm a killer whale, but , the voices are strong, in these coins. If bloggers choose a group of popular tags for today, they earn more. I would not look for other places to vote, lol.

Yes, still, I completely agree with you, and I'm sure that the high voices in the Jahm coin will soon stop and reach the level of 1-20% maximum, extreme, extra post, lol, will cost 33%. Gingerbread distribution sometimes ends. This, I think, will positively affect the value of the coin. It is unfortunate that there are few publications, but I hope that new people will appear.

There are very few Jamaicans from Jamaica posting on reggaejahm, that is why I’m making these videos. Jamaicans don’t know about hive or steem.

Jahm was never really just for Jamaica , it was for reggae and Caribbean content. Choosing a niche like this we knew we would get fewer posters and that’s fine as times will bring more users.

I can’t fully understand all you are saying , but people are free to use whatever coin tags they feel. It all depends on the individual. But basically if someone isn’t posting to reggajahm community ( or direct to ReggaeSteem.io ) chances are i will see it very late as I am not on ReggaeSteem.io much, it’s not my focus as I am not in control of hosting and domain name. Behind the scenes it’s complicated and hence the « in action » . But things will be fine, it will just take time.
