Bounty Killer Vs Beenie Man Clash Trends Worldwide
The highly anticipated digital clash between Bounty Killer and Beenie Man was EPIC to say the least. I personally haven’t tuned into a live this long in my entire life! I can honestly say this was the highlight of my quarantine time online.
The live stream held by Verzuz which is an initiative put on by Swizz beats , Timberland and P.Diddy’s Ciroc vodka has been a popular hangout spot for music lovers during this Covid 19 era. But last nights staging was the most successful thus far. The instagram live stream had 475,000 views at its peak and had fans tuning in globally for the online clash of the Reggae/Dancehall Titans.
The clash saw many from the music fraternity tuning such as Rihana, Nas,Popcaan, Konshens, DJ Khaled, Ashanti and many more. The live stream even saw the Prime Minister of Jamaica, the honorable Andrew Holness tuning in and even tweeting about it.
Like any real Jamaican clash, the police showed up...

Right after the clash, news outlets such as CNN and billboard quickly jumped on the tending topic. Billboard gave a decent break down of the clash and some songs which highlighted the night.
I really enjoyed the clash and it reminded me how powerful, influential and global the culture is though many take it for granted.

Clash wicked mih love the clash ting fih real. Not even being bias because I'm Jamaican, but this the best verzuz clash. I love the interaction between the artist, you could see that they was really having fun. We put on a great display for the world. Dancehall did gone clear, but this took it a step higher.
