DashOUT!!!

Now isn't that a cute cover photo or what? 😆 Gotta get a little kawaii for VDay. In this Choco #DashOut I showcase the the sweet gifts of the day. Interestingly, the men receive chocolate on Vday here and the Gals get it back on the following month on White Day. I always found this to be so strange in Japan but when in Rome do as the Romans do especially if it benefits you!

Early Sunday morning, our friends ( a mom and Daughter ) buzzed the intercom, we already knew why they were here. They took a bit longer than usual to get to our door but my twins were patiently waiting to scare the shit out of them as they entered ( it didn't work though). "The elevator isn't working" they said as they passed bags of goodies to the boys. The earthquake from last night left it needing repairs I guess. The good thing about the goodies they brought is that they are all handmade. Most of them are still on top of the fridge.... wish I brought a few with me to munch on with some coffee on this long day that is just halfway finished.

I thought this was a brownie but it was actually a big chocolate nugget 😄. I actually took a knife and cut it and then realized. This chocolate is really rich in flavor, bitter sweet how it is supposed to be and that makes you don't wanna eat much.

Above is a picture of the haul. I can imagine the time this mom and daughter spent making these and the mother daughter bond they possibly shared. Us guys would just go to a shop and pick some stuff up cause ain't nobody got time for that. Gotta love the feminine.

Now this is the kinda chocolate you buy for a guy that is about that life ( the drunkard life ). I actually came across these at my friends house and got a few, his wife bought them for VDay. When I first saw it my eyes lit up like I saw gold! What an invention, cognac and chocolate! The taste was brim!
