(Edited)

Here is a track produced by Natural High featuring Wayne Marshall, Jesse Royal and Kabaka Pyramid. The song titled Cane Fields expresses how nations were built by the blood, sweet and tears or Africans and how to this day we still suffer. But how did we revolt in those days? By burning down the Cane fields. The song carries the message of Garvyism in its pulse and also gives a good history lesson and future outlook. Though this song was released in February 2020, the visuals were just released on June 13th and is so relevant to the times.

The chorus and bridge really echoes a message that we have seen playing out through history. The struggle really does continue. The Hip Hop beat the vocals are laid on really fits the message as well. The track talks about all the injustice blacks face from police brutality to the creation of viruses and vaccines to deplete the population. A very potent track by some hard hitting artiste. Do check it out an tell me what you think in the comments below.
