Azalea 🌺(Tsutsuji) A Beautiful Flowering Shrub
Greetings HIVERS,
So the cherry blossom season has come and gone. Now another flower is blooming everywhere. It’s called the Azalea 🌺 and it comes in different colors. The usual colors I see around Kobe are white and pink. But there are red ones as well, though I don’t see them so often.
I took these pictures on my walk from the bus stop this morning. They make up the hedge along the side of the road in many places around the city. I’m looking forward to seeing them in full bloom. Each time I see them, they are a reminder that a lot of thought went into the planting of trees 🌲and flowers 🌸 with consideration for staggering the display of beauty as each flower blooms in its season. I’m not an expert but, I the think that the general landscaping around the city is pretty good. There is always some tree or flower blooming or leaves changing colors. This adds to the aesthetic beauty of the city and the community at large.
It’s a beautiful mix of human ingenuity and nature.Who gets the credit?

I really enjoy looking at flowers... I only don't plant them yet, because I like to have low maintain plants 😅🙈.
What I do eventually want to plant are Jasmines, because of the versatility of the flowers themselves and they make good houseplants.
I can relate for sure @tanjakolader. The lifestyle we’ve come to adopt doesn’t afford many the time to have high maintenance plants. Back in the day (countryman ting) the front yard always had a garden. Mom was always planting flowers in the front and food in the backyard.
Indeed... My mom for example always had flowers and plants, but only now after she retired she has more time to enjoy her gaerdening.
