Mammillaria prolifera, my new cactus.

Oh boy, yesterday I went to the nursery and bought three plants, one of them is a small cactus that came with two small flowers and I fell in love, especially for the pictures I could take, I said inside me: they will be awesome! I got home I took the pictures and that's when I was seeing the failure of my speedlite flash, in total it had 26 errors in pictures that I can' t use, luckily I managed to get some pretty interesting ones that I want to present today.

Wait, I was really excited until I saw the pictures of @carlosadolfochac who already gave too much information and so good, and his pictures are amazing, so I think I'll limit myself to just present the pictures and that's it haha.

The great beauty of this cactus is to see its flowers on its tiny body, to take the pictures I took them indoors to avoid the sun, you know, I hate the sun and I can't stand it, maybe that's why I like cacti because they tolerate it, at least most of them.

I hope you are paying attention to the pictures, because obviously we can see where the next flowers will come out, look in the middle of the picture you just saw.

I really liked the fact that in the same plant there are many offspring that I can move to other pots, I hope they reproduce quickly, and in fact I have a doubt about that, do you think I should wait until the flowers are finished to change them to another pot with special substrate?

Anyway its flowers make me fall in love, it is as if they were made of plastic and I feel like touching them, I need help! I hope you liked the pictures, this is what I can contribute for the moment while I keep learning, making these posts helps me to memorize their names for the next posts.

All photographs are my property, taken by me, @monster-one

You bought plants from a nursery. And your cactus is so charming now. You share it from different angles. I can't imagine that it is so beautiful. Cactus is in the middle of the thrones and looking beautiful. I think it's a lesson for everyone.🤔

Thank you very much, I tried different angles so it wouldn't be boring and you could see the whole cactus in detail.

Those little guys are so adorable! Glad you got it :)
One of the easiest to grow too and they will produce tons of little babies and spread. They look amazing when larger and have lots of those little flowers. Next year they will (or should) grow red berries in the place where now they have a flower. If that happens you will swim in seeds! :D

do you think I should wait until the flowers are finished to change them to another pot with special substrate?

You can wait, though I don't think they will care much. They can bloom all season long almost non stop, so you will wait for a bit.

I feel like touching them

Touch them! :D

I was a little busy and the flowers have already closed, I will have to wait for the next ones to open, but this time I will touch them, I already imagined a short video. 🤔
