My little Lithops

(Edited)

Hello Community of Succulent growers ☺️ Yesterday I was thinking of my little Lithops. I love this species of Succulents, they really look like living stones. Lithops are Succulent plants that have adapted so that in their natural environment they are not eaten by animals. That is why they acquired that curious stone shape since they coexist in the southern regions of Africa, along with many of them. It must be taken into account that outside their habitat they cannot be outside, so it is better to grow them in pots inside the house and provide them with plenty of lighting. In addition, you will not need to change the pot in 3 or 4 years.

I cultivated 6 little Lithops, of which 1 I gave to my sister and 3 were destroyed in the jaws of my cats 😢
I had a very nice garden with different species of Succulents such as: Aeonium Arboreum, Echeveria Black Knight, Crassula ovata, Echeveria Imbricata, Senecio blue, Portulacaria Afra etc ... All were unfortunately destroyed. The survivors I gave them to me sister. Here are my 2 little ones who were the only ones next to a "crassula ovata gollum" that I could leave with me.

I hope one day to have a nice garden and of course it must be a kind of greenhouse so that it is not destroyed by my cats. I think they don't like me paying so much attention to plants, they are very jealous. Since they know they are my cute kittens, they don't like to share my love. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Cats do have this fascination for destroying lithops. I lost a few a couple of years ago like that

Yes, they are terrible. But I love them too much to be mad. Thank you for your comment 😊
