Always bet on the underdog...

avatar

This is kind of a continuation of yesterday's post where I was talking about the "big theater" of cryptocurrency markets, Twitter, etc... Wherever we go, we always land at the same point... And those are the powers that are creating the narrative...

And I'm using the word "creating" as it is literally like that... Our reality, the news that is coming out is CREATED... Sometimes, they have a small connection with real events, but very often, they are like a magnifying glass... Over-pumped news with a perfectly designed goal...

But, some people are strange... And I would say that it is the wrong perspective when we say that MAJORITY is deciding about a certain thing... Yes, you have powerful people, we have democracy, blah, blah, blah...

Always bet on the underdog. They've got ambition and nothing to lose.

On the other side of this "virtual battlefield," you have those weirdoes... Those who are fighting for ideas, for the right thing... They aren't the majority, they are very often that 1%...

But, they are the underdog... If you are fighting for the idea, you have nothing to lose... Blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, financial freedom, fair-system... Those ideas are worth of battling...

Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

I really believe in the underdogs in almost every competition, movies or whatever and also in real life. I don't know why, if it's the aura they exude or something else. or maybe that I consider myself one haha. I think it's also the relatability 😅.

I think it's also the reliability

Oh, I bet it is... One of my favorite songs from teenager's years was going something like this: "You are right, and the majority is wrong..." :) :)

It's hard to be in 1%, but it's satisfying to be "on the other side" :)

Have an awesome weekend!!!

Hahahaha I know what you mean about the 1% and on the "other" side. When I was younger, I usually took a different stance or approach to what my friends or the majority of my peers were taking, just to be "different". Now not so much to be different, because I have in my perception valid points 😅.

Have an awesome week!

Hehehe... yeah... teenagers days... Everyone wants to be different, but in the end, everyone is the same at that age... lol...

Now not so much to be different, because I have in my perception valid points 😅.

My favorite "sport" was to have a different point of view than my teachers... and always went to fight with them... lol... smartass... lol... Most of them actually liked that, but there were exceptions where I paid the price... lol... :D

Hahaha I know some of those students and it's good to not take the teachers' words for granted and to question things. Nothing wrong with that. I only learned that way later in life, but I think any time's a good time huh?

It depends on what type of underdog it is. If it is for SPORTS or Wall Street Bets vs hedge funds, then yes I would.

I don't know if I would want to bet on the underdog if it was for fridge conspiracy theories or something I have no way to believe in.

Well said! Hive is a big underdog, and Hivians are often called honeybadgers... Definitely underdogs! :)

The more mainstream media is trying to belittle or censor an underdog, the more we should pay attention to him/her.

Exactly! I watched some video with the president (or some politician) of Azerbaijan... Where the reporter was attacking him about human rights in his country, and he just throws back the question about Julian Assange... lol... And how they have treated him in their "free speech" Great Britain... Just one example of an underdog...
