Deuteronomy 21:22 the cross is a sign of punishment, not a Christian symbol.

There are some other punishments for other sins.

Leviticus 20:14 A man that takes a wife and her mother should be burnt because of wickedness. This is another punishment for sin.

Galatians 3:13 Apostle Paul it clear that the cross is the place of punishment that christ had to undergo to redeem us from the curse of the law. Hanging on the cross is a sign of payment of for our sins

Biblically, cross is not a symbol of christianity, it is a sign of curse of the law

According to the catholic's Apostles creed, they claim that the cross is a strong weapon against satan, but that is a lie
