Why do good people suffer while the wicked prosper?

Bible tells us that we shall see reality

Ecclesiastes 9:2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.

That verse is by King Solomon the wisest man in the world

God is always justice and God's justice is served not only here. John the Baptist died, he did nothing wrong, he's just 30 years, he was beheaded by king Herod. God's justice is not attend only in this life, there is another life to come

John 5:28-29 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

You must not think unjust in your mind, there is declaration of God in the Bible that says evil people may win, prosper, but it will not last long

Job 20:4-5 Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

What will happen to cruel people?

Luke 6:20-23 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Justice will not be at serve at once, it will be served definitely

For a man to live 70 years, it's a very short time. Even if you are living evil life. This world is where evil is glorified and where good things are buried
