What did it mean when Jesus said am the bread of life.

John 6
As we know we need physical food to sustain our physical body. Without food there can not be survival. It is said that a hungry man is an angry man which mean food bring joy, happiness and even good health to the body. We eat so that we can survive and grow which imply food is very important to the body.

Jesus saying is the bread of life mean is the food for the spirit has we eat physical food to make our physical body survival, we also need to eat Spiritual food and grow Spiritually, for us to be like Jesus and grow with him we need to eat the word of God, follow God ways, pray, serve Him, do His will which mean we are eating the bread Jesus has prepare for us and we will never be hungry Spiritually.

Matthew 11:28
Jesus has told us to come unto him all that are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest.

The only way He can give us all this which He has promise us is for us to come to him and also eat the bread which he has prepare for us by doing His will.

God has promise to bless us when will do this
