Firstly question about the church of God.
It was the same church apostle paul preaches to people of thessalonians and corintians.
The church in the bible has a name and it is called THE CHURCH OF GOD, not an adventist church neither jehovah witness church.

He was made in likeness of man to preach because he will preach to man.

He didn't say drink but a little mixture to control your running stomach.

Fifth, does thanking God repeatedly a repetiting prayer?
No, thanking God from morning till night is not repetition because it happens in different location.
