Zoom Bible Study 15-05-2021

During the Bible study, our brother emphasized on the need for genuine preachers, and how important they are for our salvation. Brother Eli mentioned that, a preacher is sent by God to speak His word according to John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
A preacher sent by God speaks what God wants him to speak and not for the entertainment of others, no unrighteousness can be found in his teachings.

A preacher can either be an instrument of God for your salvation or an instrument of satan for your destruction, it’s up to us to ask God to help us discern which is the right one. 2 Corinthians 11:13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.
The preachers of darkness would not reveal their true identity, just like the devil disguise himself like light, so does these evil preachers, pretending to be sent by God.
They are mostly after their profit, they don't take into consideration the poor, how they are doing, they would even rob them of their money, because they aim is to enrich themselves. They are hypocrites.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's. clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
It is not an easy task to be able to tell which preacher is sent by God except the intervention of the Holy Spirit.

What are the signs we need to look out for when looking out for God’s preacher. 1 Corinthians 10:33 even as I try to please everyone in every way.(A) For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many,(B) so that they may be saved.
All the apostles sent by Jesus were followers of Him. They are not after profit, they are even ready to count their profit as losses. Just to glorify the name of the Father.
Philippians 3:7-8 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss(A) for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing(B) Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ.
