Zoom Bible Exposition 23/07/2021

These are some of the lessons learnt from the bible exposition question and answer section from blessed memory of bro Eli.
During the service, bro eli mentioned that it is important for us to acknowledge our sins and pray for forgiveness and trust God that He would forgive us.
Psalm 32:5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.(A)
I said, “I will confess(B)
my transgressions(C) to the Lord.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin.
That doesn’t mean we should keep sinning because the end point of a deliberate sinner is death.
In Hebrew 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

Brother Eli also spoke on Goodnews, and I understood that there are many goodnews in the bible. The first was found in
Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
The above verse was talking about a ruler that would come from Isreal that is for everlasting. Because the people of Isreal was suffering from bad leadership and needed a new ruler. Micah prophesied that a rule of Isreal would come that would be from Everlasting to everlasting.
In Mark 1:15 After John(B) was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee,(C) proclaiming the good news of God.(D) 15 “The time has come,”(E) he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe(F) the good news!”
We can find another goodnews when John was arrested this time the goodnews was from Jesus.
When Christ was done preaching after 3 year another goodnews was His resurrection. And this can be found
In John 2:19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
Paul also spoke of the goodnews about the life of christ and this can be found in
1 Corinthians 15:5-10 and that qhe appeared to Cephas, then rto the twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to sJames, then tto all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, uhe appeared also to me. 9 For vI am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because wI persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, xI worked harder than any of them, ythough it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.
