Is there punishment for those who mistranslated the bible?

Yes there is punishment for those who mistranslated the bible for their own personal or selfish interest not for the sake of the kingdom. God hate such a person. God cannot be questioned for he knows everything and how to deal with people who disobey him and mistranslate his words. He
has his own method of dealing with such people. Romans 9:20
NIV:But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”
The punishment he placed on them is a plague which is sickness of the body and of the mind. Revelation 22:18-19
NIV:I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.
And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
