đź’ĄNatural Brute Beasts to be Taken and Destroyedđź’Ą

In order to speak, one must first listen. In order to comment, one must understand what was written.

I felt so awfully sorry and disturbed after reading some negative comments regarding my last two blog entries about biased reporting and jaundiced journalists, which comments lumped up all those killed allegedly as extrajudicial killings!

But while we have jaundiced journalists, we also have jaundiced readers. To be jaundiced is to be affected by bitterness, resentment, or envy. Don’t they show in their voices?

I'm reminded that what the Bible says is true! Not all people read the Bible carefully and conscientiously.

II PETER 3:16-17
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.

As the unlearned wrest the Scriptures, so do some readers of my blog wrest its message!

As written in my two last entries, I never favored extrajudicial killings! Nor is there any part of what I wrote that defends any alleged killing without due process. Below are some of these comments I believe made by people who do not understand what they are doing! May God forgive them!

Here is what I wrote:

We know scientifically and logically that drug addicts are persons considered to be out of control, even by themselves. One way to help them is to show them and make them taste a blow from the arm of the law. I repeat: show them and make them taste a blow from the arm of the law.

If they will see that pushers and users are being prosecuted and not tolerated, they would think twice in pursuing their vices that are most certainly stupid. Punishment is a deterrent to crime.

HEBREWS 10:28
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

A wise reader would consider the conclusive portion of the entry that says, "I repeat: show them and make them taste a blow from the arm of the law.If they will see that pushers and users are being prosecuted and not tolerated, they would think twice in pursuing their vices that are most certainly stupid. Punishment is a deterrent to crime.

HEBREWS 10:28
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:"

A wise reader would not comment that I am in favor of killings - specifically extrajudicial!

The verbatim portion I wish to emphasize is, "If they will see that pushers and users are being prosecuted and not tolerated......."

What do I mean by “prosecuted?” Bringing criminal action for the offense in the courts of the land.

And what do I mean, "and not tolerated?" Did I mean they must be killed or punished without due process? For shame! You who just comment without thinking! It’s stupid to place meanings where it is not meant!

Remember that the term "extrajudicial killings" is as yet an allegation against the Duterte Administration! It is not yet established.

Extrajudicial killings mean killings by persons on authority without due process of law, and Duterte's critics must prove this first that really since May 10 of this year, all the killings that happened in the government's war against drugs are being done by the Duterte Administration!

My blog entry was titled "Judging the Killings: Not to Blame Duterte but Sum up the Truth."

Nowhere in this entry did I justify the killings that happened to defend the President nor did I condemn the critics of the present government to defend the one in power! The entry centered mostly on biased media, both local and foreign, their reckless use of the phrase "extrajudicial killings."

One thing I said is "punishment is deterrent to crime!" using Hebrews 10:28.

HEBREWS 10:28
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Did I mean in the use of this verse extrajudicial killings?!! Shame on you, stupid!

The verse says, death is imposed under Moses' law upon the testimony of two or three witnesses! It inevitably means that the crime against the Law of Moses before death is imputed was investigated and was proven in the testimony of two or three witnesses. This is the due process under the Law of Moses! Is this extrajudicial killing?

Next time before you comment on Brother Soriano's pronouncement, be sure you understand what you are reading!

And a bonus before Christmas! Are you going to criticize and be dismayed by what the Apostle Peter said that I quoted in one of these blogs?

II PETER 2:12
But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

In this verse, Peter is saying that people or humans that speak evil of the things they do not understand are natural brute beasts to be destroyed!

Now, get a bonus. Disagree with Peter and go to hell!
