Live Youtube Bible Exposition 18th June,2021

Hello my beloved friends, hope your day is going according to Gods plan? If yes thanks be to God, if no, keep the faith knowing Gods promise for you will surely be made evidential.

What I share with us all is what I was able to learn from the live bible exposition.
Bible exposition is a session where people are given opportunities to ask questions concerning their doubts in Gods word.

The first brother asked: How can we recognize the true religion ?

James 1:27, KJV: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."

A true religion is one that does the greatest commandment of all which is "love"
For one to practice true religion, he/she must be able to practice two things:

• Charity
• Holiness.
  When this two are intact, we are following the tract that our lord Jesus Christ has place for us.
  Charity means doing good to those who are in need. Charity to people give them the hope to keep living knowing that despite their conditions, they are still valued by men.
  That alone can give a man wanting to attempt suicide hope to live one more day, and from which he/she will live on.

Holiness simply means practicing the doctrines of God diligently.
So a true religion and a true Christian must practice this two things diligently.

The second brother asked a question using
1 Timothy 5:23 as his reference.
He asked: The bible said that those who are drunkards will no see the kingdom of God, So why did 1 Timothy 5:23 ask us to take some for stomach sake ?

1 Timothy 5:23
King James Version
23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.

In that scripture, apostle paul was telling timothy to take a little of alcohol because of his stomach issue.
Timothy in that verse was having some infirmity(sick in his stomach). So the strong wine was a medicine for it not for pleasure.

Proverbs 23:31
King James Version
31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.

God is never pleased with those who drinks intensionally despite knowing it is against His doctrine.
