How do we understand the Bible? 29th June, 2021.

Hello friends, this is my response to the question above.

First, we must all know that the bible has its own interpretation. So understanding the bible must be through the help of the Holy Spirit. The mind of men can not comprehend the bible except we are being lead by God.

1 Corinthians 1:19
King James Version
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

For us to understand Gods word, God must give us His understanding.

Proverbs 1:23
King James Version
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

We always need the Spirit of God for us to understand Hid word.

1 Corinthians 2:10-11
King James Version
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

It is only through the Holy Spirit God reveals His words to us in our minds.
The wisdom of man is only limited to the earthly things.

The bible can only be understood through Gods divine revelation, which is done through the Holy Spirit.
