Tulips are out in the garden

It’s been a strange winter, but I always feel a bit better when the tulips open. Summer is close and the next thing the lilacs will bloom.

Summer takes a while longer to arrive on the coast. The cold breeze off the ocean slows everything down, but it won’t be long before everything is green and every day will be shorts day.
