We should be outside...

In nights like this one. Night, full of falling stars.

Are you aware tonight is one of the peaks of the meteor shower of "Eta Aquarids"? If the name confuses you, these are debris from Halley’s comet.

Here is a photo of mine from another meteor shower and you may see one comet in it but for those 20 seconds I exposed this frame, I managed to capture four meteors in it ;) Try to find them if you can :) The place is a small Orthodox Christian chapel with a glowing cross on a hill in Plana mountain, Bulgaria.

The best part of the year :)
I saw one fat meteor last night, no photos unfortunately as after it I could see any new major and some clouds covered the sky.

Great shot! Very clear night indeed. However, we have always a problem finding a place with less light pollution :(

(Edited)

I totally get that, as we had to drive about 30 km from the capital and the light from it still could be seen in the photo.

I hear there are few places left in Europe without light pollution. One in Slovakia, I think I heard about one, countryside but don't recall the name. In Bulgaria, probably the best place for astro-photography is near Rozhen, there is an astronomical observatory. :)

Thank you :)
