"Where are we heading next?" (original poem)

I just came from a foreign land,
I went home almost empty-handed,
If not pushed by experience and courage,
I could be lost now.

I wanted to do everything can,
Brought by what background and wisdom
It taught me the basics of everything,
But it only led me to one thing.

Now, I want to go to another detailed path,
It gave me choices worth pursuing,
Trying to be someone untrained,
But the will to train me gives me new hope and direction.

Protect what you have started,
Maintain that agility and strength,
Towards these goals with all of I know.
Still, it’s hard to find peace in this skillful mind.

From silence, I heard a whisper of new endeavors,
Everything in this mind, I cannot merely control,
So where am I heading?
All these drives push me to where my efforts guide me…
The strangely unexplainable life’s adventure.
