Earth Deeds - Volume - 12: Let's contribute our part to save environment.
Hello friends, clean environment is the right of every living things. Not only humans affected from the environment but also all species on earth affected from polluted environment. Unfortunately, the environment issue is getting worsen ad worsen with every day. To fix these issues and giving better environment to our next generation, it is important we take precautionary measures at our end. Only our little individual effort will make a big difference.
Every big journey start with a single step. So, what are you waiting for my friends. Let's start a step to save environment. Abundance tribe started a nice campaign to save environment by contesting Earth Deeds. Being a member of HIVE community it is important for us to be the part of this campaign to make earth cleaner and greener for next generation. You can also be the part of this campaign. Now it's time to tell you about my little efforts in this regards. Last week I was amazed to know that I gained 15 pounds weight during lock down. Lock down means no or little moment. Being at home increased my weight. I had nothing to do except go to market for grocery.
The grocery shop is not too far from my home, but most of the time I used car to collect grocery. The major reason behind this is summer season which is at it's peak. Average temperature range of my city is in between 110-120 Degree Fahrenheit. So, it's difficult to move without car.
Friends I noticed that environment of our city is restoring during covid-19 pandemics. The main reason behind restoration is industry shut down and low traffic on road. Hydrocarbons and and factory flue gases contributed a lot to damage environment. Hydrocarbons and flue gases releases carbon di oxide which contributed a lot in global warming, health issues and damaging environment.
Our little effort can help to minimize the carbon di oxide content in air. Friends countries can't shut down the industries due to economic growth and other issues, but we can help to keep the environment clean by using less vehicle. Although we have E4 & E5 emission car but I decided to avoid car driving as much as I can. It will not only reduce carbon foot prints but it will also help me to shred some weight.
