Will be interesting to see how this goes. Can it extend beyond LeoFinance? I only ask, as I don't post anything finance related, so never find myself on their platform. Incidentally, I created a microblogging platform a few months ago, basically because I was bored. :) It works well on the web and web on mobile, but I only got halfway through coding a true mobile app before I got a bit burnt out and put it aside. I wonder whether LEO will have a mobile app. I think it is necessary for microblogging, hence why I don't promote my platform any more. If I ever finish the app I will, but it's not a priority at the moment. Anyway, you can have a play at https://d-hiver.herokuapp.com/ if you want. It's only free hosted at the moment while there's not many users, so can take a while to load up when it hasn't had activity for a few hours (or is it days?).
In fact, hearing that a professional outfit like LEO Finance are doing microblogging, makes me happy I stopped work on it. I doubt anything I could do will match the quality they are likely to implement.
Sooner or later will be extended beyond Leo, you'll see. I'm sure of that. Leo leads the way and others will follow, just as it happened with the linear earning curve.

From what I understand @revo, it is a feature of leofinance for now. Of course, the content on leofinance is wider than people think since it aims to be the frontpage of the internet for crypto if you will.
That said, there are some rough plans about putting together a more generic application for Hive, which then will have all the features that Leofinance does. I have no idea how far those thoughts are or if it will ever come into being.
As for mobile, you are correct, that is greatly needed. No idea what is being talked about with that.
