Worshipping or Call for Help? - Part #2

A week or two ago I have created vlog and talked about worshipping idols... My idea was to talk about a certain thing that is happening to us very often, and that's that we put some people "too high", and we don't notice that by doing that, we situate ourselves lower... In a nutshell, we are literally giving our power to others, without even noticing that...

The thing that surprised me a lot about that vlog is the number of awesome comments that I have received on it... It wasn't just the number of people that engaged on this topic, but different perspectives about it... It looks that people have received the message in their unique way, which just brought a big amount of value to the whole discussion...

After reading all these great comments, I have decided to create this video where I have tried to bring those ideas closest to you... I would like to thank all great people that have shared opinions about this topic by commenting: @russellstockley, @rezoanulvibes, @jangle, @saachi, @achim03, @globetrottergcc, and @pixiepost...

Thank everyone for adding immense value to the post and to all commenters involved... you are the best!

Check out the video for details...

In the end, I would like to make an update of my current numbers (August 9th, 2020 - monthly target 80%) on #MyHiveGoals:

HIVE POWER - 15,301 / 20,000 76.50%
CTP POWER - 116,945 / 150,000 77.96%
HIVE Followers - 294 / 333 88.29%
LBRY Followers - 1005 / 1,500 67.00%

The number of LBRY follower is more and more impossible, but that can change in a couple of days as depend on the popularity of the whole platform... Other numbers aren't that bad at all...

Join us in this awesome #MyHiveGoals and let's grow together! You can find the original post about the challenge by @robwillmann here: https://peakd.com/myhivegoals/@robwillmann/new-challenge-myhivegoals-set-and-achieve-your-goals

Thank you for your time,

Another great Vlog Post Zoltan @ph1102 - Thanks for the mention above

One of the things I see a lot is people losing themselves to relationships, either trying to change a partner because of some false notion that they should be like that when they are like this, or trying to change oneself to match a partners expectations.

This is a kind of false worship in that individuals lose their true self, there authenticity in the name of trying to be something they are not.

This can also go for those that have been placed on a pedestal. trying to match the expectations of others.

One can truly lose the self if they do that.

Another aspect is the self worshiper, they will never be happy because again they are trying to meet the expectation of others and lose the true self

Society has a lot to answer for when it places those types of expectations on people to match tom something they are not.

My university studies on masculinity and femininity sure opened up the eyes to perceived expectation that is ever shifting and can never be met.

Thanks for your kind words, but the thanks for this one goes to you and others that have commented on the first one... (and I will not create the 3rd with comments from this one... :) )

opened up the eyes to perceived expectation that is ever shifting and can never be met.

This is a big truth... it's a never-ending cycle... expectations are just raising every time when the previous is met...

This was a great follow up to the infamous video you made several days ago! I am glad to see so many people come together as well & see that this is a real problem in today's society. It is great to admire what someone does or appreciate them, but when one starts putting them on a pedestal, then we have some issues.

It's insane how this way of thinking can effect different parts of our lives without even realizing it consciously. I see it all the time on mainstream social media & personally. I think us all talking about it helps raise awareness & keeps us all in check so thank you for doing so! :)

Bottom line, we all are valuable. So, we need to look within ourselves & realize our own worth. We don't need to idolize people, just know we all have a place in this world & can help serve others. Like you said, otherwise it kills unicorns ;) & it doesn't really help pixies either ;)

Thanks again for an awesome video, Zoltan. You are awesome! :) 💚

I have nothing to add, except that all of us are valuable parts of the big picture...

Thanks for the great comment and your support!

It's really interesting to see how one theme can be interpreted in so many different ways. I believe that it has some truth for all kind of human relationships where we are not at an equal level. Maybe there is an other aspect behind that which has to do with self esteem. Why do we need to put others on a pedestal or worship people?

Oh, man... I like to see your comment on the post... with a big BANG! :)

That's probably one of the big reasons for worshipping... I mean, people with low self-esteem tend to do that... Trying to find encouragement in worshipping others in some weird way... Or, just hiding behind "big faces"...

Nice elaboration yet to be. Education helps you to distinguish between right or wrong impartially.

Usually, I get distracted when I watch your video. This time you are distracted by the beautiful little bird. I hear the sweet sound of the bird.

There is nothing wrong to like someone very much and learn something good from the person. But if you forget your identity, that's the problem. And it will not get you anywhere. You are unique. That's the most powerful thing ever.

Thank you for making Part #2 of this video. See you around, @ph1102!

Thank you for contributing to this video by making an awesome comment...

It was a pity that I didn't record the bird, but it was so tiny, that, probably it wouldn't be visible at all...

Next time when you see a bird, please record it for me. I love birds! :)
