Are Your Post Promoting Your List Or Someone Else's

In today's video I am looking for some feedback and I am totally up for a discussion on this.
Check out the video and let me know your thoughts on this subject in the comments below. I am interested to see what people think, because this is something that so many of us do.

This is a good point, and when I look at my current posts re: the main funnel I am using, I am consistently using the referral urls for the 3 programs that make up the gist of it. It does make more sense to have people join the list, and then the URLs would definitely be welcomed.
Part of that is because I am using the content inside the email e-course as well as putting it on the blockchain. I was rather lazy to be honest and reusing it without modifying it.
To realistically adhere to what CTP teaches, it would be best to have the posts have like maybe a single link back to my lead capture page for the beginning of the course. I believe I'll start posting them without the referral urls directly but use my email list-building page instead.

Also, nice video. I enjoyed the topic in general.
Since I track everything, I can easily tell the difference in whether the subscribe rate goes up for my main list once my next post comes out.

Thanks Rob, I think all of us have done this and probably still do. I know I have done it many times and the main thing should always be to build your brand and your list first. If we are posting content on the blockchain to help out getting traffic then to me it is important to follow the training and use this opportunity to build our own lists and not just put standard affiliate links in the post.
If you post quality content then people will want to follow you and this is the perfect time to initiate the Know, like and trust and get people on your list. Thanks for your feedback.
Great video and subject Mike, and I think that links to any programs that we don't talk about in the blog or video should not be in the post, and I always link to my list from them.
But I also see my blog as an extention of my list, and I am actively promoting my blogs and videos to my list, so not putting the links to the programs that I am talking about into my blogs would be very awkward since I am telling my list to go to my blog for the information.
But I guess it also depends on how your setup looks like, in my case then my blog and my list goes very much hand in hand.

Thanks Erik, I am on your list and I see how you use your blog for your content and use your list to pull people to your posts for the main information and it seems to be working well for you. Many people don't put the time into their list and just post blatant Ads on their blog posts. They don't have any relationship with their list or their blog and load up the footer of their blog with affiliate links in hopes that they will get some sign ups.
I guess a lot of people are not understanding the focus being on putting out good content and not spamming links just to get sign ups. As Marketers we need to build our list and put out good content not just keep the focus on getting sign ups. The better the relationships we build the more people will chase us to sign up instead of us chasing them pressuring them to get in our downlines.
