Up Close and Personal with a Porcupine!
Up close and personal...thanks to the zoom lens haha :) I'm not that crazy.
This cool guy was in my backyard, just chilling in an apple tree eating the rosebush leaves below it. This year I'm really starting to love porcupines after having a few close encounters.
They are very shy and sweet (if you keep your distance of course). They move really slowly and I love their kind faces! Watching them is sooooo relaxing. Mesmerizing...

I wished that my neighbours would give up on the idea of having annoying dogs and got themselves some porcupines instead. They appear to be much more silent and less jerks than these dogs that keep barking all day and all night long... 😑

It's no joke though, I could imagine how frustrating it would be to try and sleep with dogs barking! 😩
Yeah, it really is. Sometimes I put some Metal music to muffle their sound. At least with that, I can fall asleep! 😈

I ran across on in the middle of the night while on an outage. It was on the side of the road and we just had to stop and check him/her out. You are right they faces make them seem all “cuddly” but the rest of them says other wise.
Badgers... baby badgers are super funny. Them little guys must come out of the womb growling and looking for a fight. A guy at work got a video of 2 young badgers side by side right out his window. Growling and snarling. It was super funny. I will have to find it and post it up.
