Yesterday, with the help of one of my daughters we moved most of my plants outside while it rained

We are located on the third story so this is no easy task.

This photo was taken while I was standing outside our apartment admiring my collection...

and making sure no one tries to bother my plant babies.

I call this the head test, its a term I picked up from another plant mama.

Like I've said before, I Like Big Plants and I Can Not Lie...

Do have any plants that would pass the head test?

Drop a photo(s) in the comments!

I absolutely love the way raindrops look after they have fallen on a leaf.

They add this natural sparkle that can't be replicated.

I left everything outside for several hours so that the rain could successfully penetrate the soil enough for all of this work to be worth it.

This is what our living room looked like at 10:20 last night...

There is no way I could go to bed knowing that nothing is in its correct place.

That gave me the idea to create a time-lapse, which is something I plan to sharing lots more of!

This is what one of my plant corners look like with no plants...

Talk about naked!

Here is once I got everything cleaned and arranged the way I like it.

SO much better!

If you look at the bottom right of this photo you can kind of see another project @idkpdx and I have been working on together.

Painted rocks that we plan on hiding around our Oregon town.

I will share more photos and information on that project this weekend!

I'm actually really stoked to share these little creations with you guys!

That one say's Rock Hard Abs
LOL

This is the other plant corner, where most of my large plants live.

A while back I replaced our normal house bulbs with grow lights, making this an ideal area for plants.

In total we have 4 grow bulbs in our living room, an absolute must in my opinion if you want your plants to thrive.

And the after photo!

Ah it felt nice to have my jungle back together.

I also wanted to extend the largest

Funny! Yeah, that looks like a huge task alright—transitioning your houseplants into the rain and then back inside. I bet the exterior time-lapse would be a sight to see. :) Here in Austin, we have to make the opposite move sometimes because the rainfall can over-saturate the plants on our porch. Even in our garden, the 6' tall sunflowers got a little too soaked this week. Like you, we celebrate the vivid greens inside and outside our home.

An outside time-lapse would have been amazing! Before I started I attempted to put my phone in my pocket to record but lady jean pockets are way too small.

I don't have very many outside plants. It's a world I want to explore once we have a house with a yard, I do love sunflowers! I successfully grew some on our porch last year, I still need to plant this years seeds!

Thank you for taking the time to view my content and comment!
